just to sum up, ALL stage performing people, all TV appearing mediums, channeling etc, and anyone who asks publicity, fame money is fake! water car inventors are ALL fake, then there's religious phenomena, OBE and stuff, these have turned out to be weird, some are clever tricks, while some other are real, if you want to have a rational conversation I can tell you more
@georgiosvergakis566610 жыл бұрын
believe it or not, there are people who believe David Blaine is real, and he somehow really performs paranormal, others believe (many millions of people do) that a car can run on water, the difference is I get on stage and investigate and I do real research, yes there are some phenomena that bend the rules of physics, and yet we cannot find anything wrong with our investigation. the truth is more weird than you think, beyond all these scams, there's genuine paranormal
@georgiosvergakis566610 жыл бұрын
you are an idiot, yes real paranormal exists, with evidence, unless there's no real evidence defying the rule of physics, I don't accept it, but many Christians believe in pseudo miracles, and Indians believe in milk drinking gods, get your facts straight
@georgiosvergakis566610 жыл бұрын
oh yes they do, especially clever tricks and even more religious tricks such as the milk drinking statue god, many in India believe, other cultures also have similar tricks but let me tell you when a trick is done, sooner or later is exposed by someone. and as for real supernatural, that is extremely rare, away from the spot light, but it does exist. but we need to be careful here, I mean how can still believe in busted tricks? these people are really hulucinating

Hypnosis doesn't work that well.
@TheBloodyBlackJackal10 жыл бұрын
Unlikely, but in said scenario the string would be suspended across two buildings.
@TheBloodyBlackJackal10 жыл бұрын
Also, it's not suspension wires, as there are plenty of versions in which the rope pushes off a basket lid.

No one said he believed in anything supernatural... I can tell you aren't very bright. It's a magic trick, nothing more, nothing less.

@mrrobvs11 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure that you accurately detailed the fairness of the trick, but here goes: The principle of the trick involves a pole being inserted into the rope from "underground," under the stage, etc. In the case of this version, the bucket was indeed lifted. It was a good "convincer" or "subtlety." However, the start of the trick involves a short pole, the person underneath sends it all the way up, the magician holds the pole and lifts that and the bucket. The pole is then exchanged for long one
@VERGIS9211 жыл бұрын
in fact all Indian tricks turn out to be tricks, flying ropes, the man who didn't eat, and the Elephant god who drunk milk, all hoaxes , and none of the magicians took James Randi challenge or was willing to take any official bet, is it possible you believe in David Blaine flying as well?
@VERGIS9211 жыл бұрын
at least I am not an idiot like you believing things, not unless I get on stage and investigate hands on, if you think the rope trick is real go win James Randi $1mil prize, just illustrate and let them observe, before and during the trick, make the rope fly and you will get $1mil, that's how you can prove it

This is the best video I've seen to this trick, for several reasons: It is performed directly on public and filmed for one of them. The magician lifts up the basket from the ground with the rope already rigid. Everything happens on an elevated stage without possibility to hide something under the floor. The girl that rise up is chosen from the audience. With all these background I wonder, where can it be the trick ?!. Greetings from Chile, and many thanks for sharing this vid. Cheers, John.
