AnLearnsArt

AnLearnsArt

Hi! My name is An! I created this channel to record my journey of how I teach myself how to draw and create art.

I've always admired art channels who can express themselves through art and creativity. My goal is to follow tutorials and draw so that I can become one of those cool art channels.

My videos will be a journey of how I struggle with new techniques and learn how to colour and draw different things. I will try to teach you the information that I learned and practice them in my videos.

Hopefully you will join me on this ride of struggling, pain, self doubt, but eventually satisfaction with my results!
See you there!
lots of love, An

    Diamond painting takes time depends on the canvas sizes big or small diamond paintings. Section your canvas is the best option for diamond painting. The Art in the original art may change a bit in the diamond painting version whether it is big or small diamond paintings.The Art of the diamond painting may change if it is hand charted or not. It is normal to have many extra diamond drills/colored beads but it is a big problem if we dont have extra diamond drills or beads.❤🎉😊 The diamonds have round drills and square drills only no other shape. AB drills,fairy dust drill are one of the special drills that most of the diamond painting have. Organize your drills on storage containers may help a lot better. Lightbox it helps too...to see clear view while doing diamond painting.

    I know this video is 3y old and you may have already gotten this tip, but a wet palette will help tons for keeping your paint from trying out and if you use a plastic toothpick or something of the sort, you can take out a tiny amount of paint, put it on the wet palette, then thicken, thin or mix your paints as needed. it has gotten rid of a huge frustration with my pbn with drying paints.

    I see this was posted a while ago but if anyone needs a full size easel, Five Below has nice sturdy ones for 12$! I just got one yesterday. Sept 29, 2013. I like this kit you did. It came out really nice!

    I use colored Sharpies to dot the next number I am going to paint before start painting. this saves time and your brush doesn't dry out as quickly while you are hunting.

    This is a great resource for someone who is planning on making one of these! Thanks for taking the time to document this process! You really made me consider the no background and weathering option as I really liked the look of those thick, worn pages, they look more like the movie version! I have one question tho, when looking at the no-background template I see that it has some coloring and it is not purely B&W, did you print them as color to get that maroonish tone on there or did you just go B&W? I'm asking because I will be printing this in a shop and color is way more expensive than B&W😅

    One tip I can give is get a cheap little paint surface that you can use to put a couple dobs of paint from the container and then close up the container so it doesn’t dry out so quick. I also always mix a little water in with my dob of paint which makes it glide on the canvas easier. Also not a good idea to go long periods of not painting - try to complete within a few months as eventually the paints dry up even sealed in the pot - I had to buy a second lot of paints so I could finish my painting. My painting was similar intricate as yours with trees leaves and water. Takes ages!! But it’s still fun

    I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video. When I first saw it, I immediately thought of the "Japanese Garden" and the beautiful pink tree. There is quite a variety of color on the canvas too, which is also eye catching. I liked what you said about painting over the lines to cover them. . . don't stay inside too much like we were taught as young children! I will subscribe to your channel, and I look forward to watching more of them! I am wondering why some of the numbers are so much bigger than the others, since they are all done digitally? Thanks so much for sharing you tips and ideas with us!

  • @AnLearnsArt
    @AnLearnsArt2 жыл бұрын

    Sorry it took me so long to respond! Honestly, it depends on what area you're filling in. As long as you dip your paintbrush into water and then wipe the excess off onto a paper towel before you dip your paintbrush into the paint, you're good! The water that's then on your paintbrush helps the paint spread around more evenly onto the canvas. The amount of paint you need depends on the size of the area you want to paint. You can take as much or as little paint as you want, cause you can always wipe the excess that's on your paintbrush away afterwards! But, if you're working with really tiny areas, I suggest using lesser paint. Cause there is a chace you may go over the lines if there is too much paint on your paintbrush. Hope this helped!!
