I dont know if the company is still un business but Ace's catfish soap. I got some myself have not teied it yet,but just maybe even better than Zote? Only reason i say this is its specialty made dor our catfish purpose so? Theroy? It should be better.
I just dont see how its going to stay on a hook? Esp with a catfish "bump." The theroy us indeed sound with any old fashioned lye soap as its made with Hog lard. Thinking?if the bait actually works well? Maybe soap & the old panty hose thing you can put more soap bait out & not get robbed nearly as bad.
It stays on pretty good
Love it man
Folks in St Bernard Parish don’t really have any excuse for being hungry. In one outing you caught flounder, crabs and trout with simple and affordable methods. People are blessed to live there.
Your video not only showcases the excitement of catching these prized crustaceans but also highlights the culinary journey from catch to cook. By sharing this experience, you've provided viewers with a glimpse into the rich seafood culture of Louisiana and the joys of outdoor exploration. Your dedication to documenting and sharing this coastal adventure is both captivating and educational. And I am Floating Village Life.

Hello 👋 Adam and Jared, growing up in the northwest of Oregon we used a larger version of your crab nest called crab rings and we would harvest dungeonous crabs from the pacific coast and many other seafood species. We would spend a week to ten days camping and gathering seafood for the entire season and take it all home and prepare it for storage until the next season. Thank you for sharing and refreshing old memories. Tennessee is a long way from any ocean so we have begun using catfish for our fish substitute for our food dishes 🙌👍💪🌈✌️
@@KunesRGr8 nice!
@@RedlineOutdoors my name is Bill and it’s nice to know you, Adam
@@RedlineOutdoors we would go as a tribe with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins sometimes as many as four families with a passle of kids. We would eat good in camp the whole time and still have a good supply for the everyone all winter long when chowder and soup was welcome

@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 yes sir!
I fish in the saltwater around the Chesapeake Bay. I wish I could get away with using more top water lures, but the drifting marsh grass is pretty bad. I'm stuck with weedless soft plastics basically.

When I was about 12 I jumped from about that height. Here’s some things. 1 the water hits hard. 2 I cannonballs but my arm was sticking out in it got slammed hard. 3 I yelled on the way down and had no air. I open my eyes under water to see the surface very far away. That was probably the scariest moment of my life.
Sounds like 180lbs of solid muscle getting that water. haha
@@TheGoatRope 😂
it sounded like a 180 lbs. of something on that i agree....
Only works if you have double sided sticks or three step sticks. If you have the single sided two step sticks, it doesn’t work having the aider on the same foot the whole way up. Sequence would be: Right foot in aider Left foot on first step Right foot on second step. Aider is now useless.
God Bless you and your daughter. I lost my little girl to cancer a few years ago. Treasure every single minute with her.

Still liking the ESS? Did you make the swap to amsteel bridge? I watched this review when you released it and I was starting my saddle journey. I hunted with a DIY Sitdrag last year and it’s time for an upgrade. I tried the buzzard roost and really like it but the tethrd’s current sale is making this one hard to pass up on. I got my bullman ring of steps thanks to your review. Enjoy watching your videos!!
@@brianward5963 love the ess. I sent it off to get modified. I kept the strapping for the bridge but I had it modified! Thanks for watching
@@RedlineOutdoors thanks for the reply. Really helps with the decision making.
2 panel way more comfortable
@@RedlineOutdoors one last question. Where did you pick up the gear loops you have on yours? I made some paracord loops for holding sticks on my sitdrag but yours look a lot more durable and easier to use in the dark.
