How is that battery holding up? I seem to have gotten about 4 years out of the Nissan "replacement" battery... There's a HUGE delta between this battery and everything else out there... Thoughts?
@@07wrxtr1 I've just done my 1st year since the replacement so I don't really have a feedback. I was hesitant at first with this battery but it has survived a -50 degree winter with it being unplugged and still inside the car and it only took one jump since May 2024.
@@ItsEricVenzon Excellent!!! I ran down to our locals and I put in the die hard gp 35 agm... mostly for heat tolerance! It's damn hot here in Utah!! I'm unsure of the whole AGM vs flooded debate - but - agm supposedly is supposed to deal with the heat better... we'll see - it's a 36 month warranty meaning it will die "hard" at month 37 right!?

@@fredwilliams3213 thank you! 🙏🏼 Unfortunately, yes. Usually you have to clean it in 30,000 - 50,000 miles but that depends on driving conditions like weather and the amount of dirt is present.
Dumb question.. Couldn't you just turn off VDC by pressing the button by the steering wheel, like on a 350z? I could drop the clutch in the 350z and do a burnout/drift, can you not do that anymore in a 370?
@@rmjxxx the ECU cuts power when brake is applied on the 370z. Earlier model years can bypass the power cut with a mod like this. It got worse for '13+ model years because there's still a safety loop somewhere in the system even doing the mod
@@ItsEricVenzon thanks for the reply. I guess I don't understand why the brake is being applied during a burnout or drift in a manual. You can just turn off vdc and dump the clutch right, it is that not possible at all anymore? My 370 is on a trailer on its way to me and I might have to resell it before I even drive it if the safety nanny is too intense
@@rmjxxx from my understanding is that the safety nannies on certain years can be bypassed. You can't do a standing burnout on these unless you do the mod or tune. But I've met with other owners that successfully drifts them without any mods (allegedly).
I do know that dirt won’t slow you down, but, you need to get a soft paint brush, a shop vac, a spray bottle of mild soap, and clean/ water hose (do not pressure wash) that engine. Then hit it with some engine dressing.

Love the videos! I just installed these lights yesterday into my Z and they look amazing. One question for you! My passenger door light strip is not working. Could it be the white wire for positive not getting connection or should I try something else? I know in the video you mentioned fixing your drivers door when it didn’t work initially.
@@soom4163 I've actually had a couple of people with a certain model year message me about this. Just verifying that the yellow wire from the subcontroller is the only thing that's tapped to the white wire from the passenger harness.
@@ItsEricVenzon I actually have the positive (red) tapped to the white wire of the passenger harness and negative (black) to black.

I need new tires for my 2016 370Z as the stock potenzas are done after only 16,000km. Seriously considering the Indy 500 given their cheaper price and good reviews over the Pilot 4S. You were super happy with their grip and wear? I don't drive my Z in the rain or winter, it's not my daily driver so thinking the Indy 500's will work well. Your thoughts?
@@Backcountryskiingcanada the rears lasted to 30,000km and mine is daily driven from mid-spring to mid-fall. I'm happy with the Indy500 for sure! Good price, okay grip, the wear is decent. A little sketchy with rain during my 25,000km.
Thanks! Rain is not an issue for me but I do want maximum grip on dry pavement. Interested to know what you’re putting on you Z next for tires now that the old ones are burnt off.

I think it looks good plus the fact that the kit comes with foot well is a plus. Would I consider different LED kits? I'm always open to new stuff!

@@limitlessgaming6210 Try wired to do WIRED Apple Carplay and see if that fixes the problem. You can also check wireless Apple CarPlay dongles. I've been using wired ever since just because It's cleaner and more efficient.
