  I have personally encountered these woman street stalkers operating on the barrack Rd Northampton stalking my now ex wife I saw them then going into Campbell square police station. And the same people are now to this very day still stalking me along with a retired cop son from Melton Mowbray he's not a cop a lifelong stalker cops call him steeeee roid man. Steeeers others to his target entitled because he's got away with it for so long. Electronic molesters all who participate as the local magistrates say.

  A lot of these stalkers use police stations as a sanctuary to get a clothes change and shower and a free meal these and others come from mi5 professional stalkers who also work for local councils the Ripa. Surveillance. Laws. Activated by the security head at council offices. Who will listen to hearsay and lies and activate a surveillance programme on anyone ie animal rights or demonstrators or anyone who they dislike.

  Two comments I’m questioning. One he states that developing creativity, inquiry, and analysis is not the same as having the skill and knowledge to increase the GDP. Second, he states that you cannot hope to increase economic productivity without the former. I agree with his second comment. But, it seems to me that the question remains in what way can you contribute to your economy? Is GDP not a measure of this, and doesn’t education have a role to play in this endeavour?

  I was effective in the NYC public schools with P.A.T.C (that commonwealth chic, Patsy!) - Preparation Active teaching Time management Consistency! Of course, other than the Science teacher, Ms Williams (from Barbados), we were the only two teachers in the Module (four sets of 6th grade classes in one section of the school) who enforced discipline. Mih nah joke, as the Caribbean folks would say.

  Lefty urban 'teecher's response to the first comment Birbalsingh says: "Ee-ohh! NO child is un-teachable!" And there we have the nub of the problem. When I first started teaching in state schools some forty years ago, you might have 2, maybe 3, primary-age children who were deemed 'slow readers'. By the time I left teaching in 2005, you'd get a class of 30 9-year-olds, and 10 or twelve of them were 'slow'. Wtf is going on? How were we asleep on watch?

  Rather comical that the moderator's last word was to appear to apologize for such an intimidatingly successful group of elite educators, when in fact they were most likely over confident and over 'qualified' failures. She wasn't intimidated at all, no, not in the slightest😏

  Interesting to look at the audience and see those who are attentive and interested, whether they agree or not, and the lost zombies who are staring down at their phones throughout. Whatever you could say about this presentation, it was certainly not dull for anyone who cares about education. I wonder why so many of them could not even pay attention.

  The purpose of education? For who? For the teacher, or for the student? A distinction must be made, of course, simply because the priorities and purposes of education between student and teacher can often be vastly different. For the most part, in this day and age, the average teacher is selling himself and his personal philosophies and opinions far more than he or she is actually teaching the subject matter. Some teachers surely don't hide their agenda, because they scream to their students within inches of their head ... "Your parents are stupid." The purpose of education from a Leftist perspective is to indoctrinate the public, and convince people that they can't think for themselves.

  I used to be a big proponent of education but now I look at humanity, the world, the nature of existence and realise that our lives are meaningless and education doesnt seem to change that. All education seems to do now is attempt to enhance technology to make our lives as bearable as possible. Ppl are now on more meds than ever, more lonely than ever, more anxious and depressed than ever, working more than ever, divorce higher than ever, and yet we are all more educated than ever. Theres a crisis of meaning, purpose and a sense of connection among ppl that education cant address. We have to ask what are we being educated for, what version of the future is worth striving for? AI? Travelling to the pits of the universe? We're at a crossroads now where we are all looking to something or someone that will make our educational endevours worth pursuing. Education has a toll, a psychological cost, what is the reward. If a 9-6 job, wife and kids and a mortgage is what we're being sold then education itself will find itself under threat.
