Ok sifu, I understand the theory, however there is a problem. I bet that if you ask your students about this, more than 80% are going to say that these two lines are the same and if there is a difference, more than 90% are not going to be able to explain the difference. I won't blame them but whoever came up in the Win Chun system with the nouns for these two different geometric figures. The first one is correct, center line, but the second one is not a line, should not be called central line and is far from been one for everybody that know simple geometry. When the center line cut our body from head to the floor, it divides the body into areas, gates or planes and not lines. So, would be correct to say, we could block on the center line, but we could also block on the left upper gate, right upper gate, right middle or whatever the case may be, but never on the central line since there is none. The central line do not exist at all. Instead of gate we may use plane as well. But never, never, central line. That is a serious problem and that is why students don't understand this ambiguous and confusing Win Chun theory. This is wrong. I'm not a sifu, but you are, maybe you could start a movement to change the terminology and bring everybody to the same page, light and understanding. It is sad that even some Win Chun masters, when talking about a punch on the central line, they are like looking for a line where to punch. They don't know that that punch could land anywhere in any of the gates but not on the center line. Sorry, that took me too long to explain myself, but somebody must correct this wrong terminology in Win Chun for the sake of the students, maybe you're the one. Thanks sifu.
Thank You we can certainly try
Thank you for this. Can you please post the second exercise.
Nice! 👍🏾
Neck grab leads to back take
Is this modified wing Chun like WSL’s or traditional WC?
This is Traditional Wing chun
What kind of kung fu is this..? never seen any of this from Ip Man.
This is from William Cheung's lineage
Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu
Too many moves. Not practical .
Not Too many moves just another way to apply something in a given situation just remember 2 is on and one is none
Nice nice! Thanks 🙏🏾 Sifu
yeaaaaa wing chun doesn't work lol
Look, man… it works, it just takes a lot of time and your body has to be deeply conditioned or else it’s at best 30% effective. Just like boxing.
@@ch0wned lol
It doesn't work for you because you lack understanding. The rest of us it works for.
Great Stuff!
totally unuseful, you have a lot of better techniques, in wing chun, for stop a lower punch.
See don't confuse your skill level with mine this technique works great i have used it in multiple situations. But if you will please upload a video of you doing something so that we all may learn.
@@sifukeith-wingchun the problem of these days, is that everybody explain a technique, and say, hey it works, if i throw you a lower punch, with all my force, you don’t stop it with a low bong sao, but if you think you can stop it , perfect, thats your imagination
@@user-kq9bx5xt6q No its not my imagination i have used this technique both in and outside the ring and it works just fine you might be taking for granted that i am standing there and not moving my feet to dissipate your force but it works just fine 3747 Church Rd Mount Laurel N.J 08054 stop by anytime and we can test it out thanks for your candor tough and have a nice day.

I am Peter from Melbourne Australia I did wing Chun Kung Fu with guys who learnt from IP man the Wong shun Leung they guy who mostly taught Bruce lee but I also done Jeet kune do but most people who do wing Chun Fung Fu don't get who to attack with it and alot of guys who have been taught Jeet kune do don't get the right way that Bruce lee designed it to be done properly
Excellent videos as always
Oh yeah 👍🏾
Stefano That is not My Intent. The Intent is just to show how to apply it against a specific technique. I am an avid Kali Practitioner. Hope this clears your concern up thank you for your input

Hello Sifu Keith, The previous one was palm 1 and this video palm 3 I afraid 2 is missing or this supposed to be 2?. Thank you
Hi Hany I will put palm 2 up next Week Thank You
Is there any application with these knives, like a fight with other weapons
yes sir i have several training videos on this channel and about 200 on my somble channel
Very clear instructions thank you for the video 🙏
Very welcome
Could you show the technique again but after the attacker throws a straight or cross after the first punch is thrown.
Sure I will film it this week thank you for the inquiry
Hi Kieth, Brilliant! Clear & precise. Despite my condition & disabilities ( I can never practice Wing Chun- due to the above) that hasn't stopped me from studying this fantastic art, which I did practice as a teenager in the 80's I've just learnt & am practicing the Siu Nim Tao form from a sitting position as I'm unable to do the goat stance due to the condition in my knees. But all the same" knowledge is power," as they say. That is so true!
That Is Awesome where there is a will there is way,and than you so much for your kind words
@@sifukeith-wingchun Hi Keith, Thanks mate! As I was saying yesterday, "Siu Nim Tao" no problem. Chum Kiu & the rest of the forms? My body won't allow me that luxury, I'm afraid! I rented out & watched the first Ip Man movie with Donnie Yen, for the 1st time in its entirety, last night. Good movie. Last fight was awesome between IP Man & the Japanese General.
This guy is a joke. He has no structure what so ever. Might work on a corpse!
Hello Sifu Mazza, I have a question. When striking, how is the jing force produced exactly?
The Energy in Wing Chun Comes through the spine. You combine your breathing with your strikes. Make sure you use short exhales when you strike. The Triceps extend the arms so training the wall push ups help greatly. Relax the biceps when you punch.Use full extension on your punches. The power is added also by stepping while you hit. Using your opponents force as he tries to sire you stepping off the line and stepping toad him at an angle to avoid his force redirecting it with your books and striking. It become similar to aa head o collision except your punch to his body hope this helps all the best and thank you for your question
@@sifukeith-wingchun Yes Sifu, thanks for your detailed answer and for your time in writing it, I really appreciate it. Wish you all the best as well. 🙏
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this. Really interesting material.
Totally useless in a real fight. Their guard is low, so they would easily be hit by the opponent's strike. Most of the martial arts are just fake ways to cheat people.
And none of this works in a real fight 😂
So parry's don't work in a real fight. You don't use head movement in a real fight. Wow You must fight different. Please show us what you do so we might all learn
@@sifukeith-wingchun wingchun is fake and all the so wingchun masters have been shown their place by real fighters... Get inside an octagon and try to parry with your phoney moves
@@sifukeith-wingchun wing Chun is a fake clown dance exposed several times by real fighters... So called wing Chun experts like u have been laid flat on their backs in real fights... Get inside an octagon and fight a mma fighter and try to parry with ur dance moves and see the result 😂
Thank you
Nice !
i like it.nice
Thank you for sharing Sifu Keith, but would you please refer to when we inhale and when we exhale?. Thank you and have a great day.
Sorry sifu but you have always your groin open for a kick, both when you are in front and when you are on 45 degrees. it's not a good thing. You front leg should be on your center, pointing the other center, only so you can avoid a kick to the groin. And throwing elbows from so far is useless if the elbow can not reach the target, you should do the exercise more close, because in closer range the conterattack to an elbow change completely... The technique you are using here is useless from close range and even from far range because in far range there is no reason to defend from an elbow that Simply can not reach you... Look here the leg always ready kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z4mouNqxqNutoKw.htmlsi=nudQ-_g3XgNQr7Hq
that is an old shaolin exercise i learned in 1972...i have several good books and videos on the history and development of wing chun and NOWHERE is this exercise ever mentioned in the wing chun tradition...and by the way you're doing it wrong
Hi Robert I never said it was a Wing Chun Exercise This website is based on all the arts i have studied. As far as doing it wrong i have been taught several ways of doing it they are all slightly different but thank you for your candor.
Clear n simple
Sir, not sure what lineage you're from, but for your own sake, I encourage you to branch out.
Thank You
Merry Christmas Sifu
Thank you same to you and a Happy New Year
