Report him. He is selling bad advice...
its 3$ on steam right now lol
So we don’t even get 3 tips. Just two shitty ones and a wasted short. Great.
this video is perfect for a late night drinking game.. everytime he says "really" you do a shot.. If you are not dead after he finished the video you have won.. Have fun people!
If I want a better game in the same genre, what would you recommend?
The answer is YES.
Good video! Have a question though. Can you save the ships you build in case it gets destroyed? And can you save your progress towards your shipbuilding in case you can't finish it in one day?
The bookshelves tip is good! Didn't know that! For these beginner shorts, let em know the mining locations change per raid. I've been looking for cobalt for rubysilver for too long >.<
TLDR: Yes.
Smack a tied up npc for weapon levelling. I'm telling a mate. He's going to love this ! :)
I'm doing great, just clicking on all the merchants whenever i can. They sometimes have great stuff!! I have no gold to buy any of it though because I've never been in a game.
Saw your video today and I think they have listened to you buddy 😉
So it's like a 3D model of terraria
level 19 lol
I liked the concept of this disjointed universe and players struggling to get back to this city... ...but the environments so far feel pretty similar with creatures that also behave similarly. Furthermore... it really does just feel like this grindy solo player game where the crafting is just one tier after another. I think it would have made more sense to randomly throw a bunch of new players together and then allow them to cooperatively go out into further realms conquering bosses and various challenges. What it is setup to do from the start is make a "base location" and you explore from there (because all tiers require harvesting and new upgraded tiered devices to make further tiers of upgraded devices) yet because of the design, I don't feel is any real ownership over the house or land I build on. It ends up feeling like I'm creating a temporary dwelling that I'm trying to enjoy and personalize that's really replaceable at any time because the land itself is so randomized and actually really is replaceable. Additionally, there's this mystical city as a prize or goal out there I'm trying to reach and where all the great stuff and lore must be but I'm gated by hundreds of hours of grind time to get there in a place I don't really feel that attachment to. Going back to the concept, I think it's great but something is missing with how we start and branch out. It looks and is marketed like it should be a PvE cooperative game (with solo option) but so far the first 50 hours of gameplay is a solo grind-fest. The story-line starts us out with interacting with a single npc character, Puck, who we're really not sure if he's on our side and we don't particularly have any attachment to him and all interactions going out from there are one-on-one with other scattered npcs. I really think it needs to start in a different matter... draw us into the story-line and world more... I think of like the intro to Guild Wars 2 (I know different combat and not as much a crafting game, it's an mmo, yada yada) but think about how the intro immediately draws in new player to the setting/story. Lots of action and more "showing" and less "telling" by this Puck character. The actionas compliment the narrative creates your purpose as you then head out into the greater world. You work cooperatively from the get-go and it gives you reason to go further into the world. Okay, so this is a different model of game, but again, the introduction and design match the story, world, and purpose while I'm not seeing this occur at least in the marketing of Nightingale. I almost think that it would be so much better for, similar to Guild Wars 2, x number of players start in a shared world and have the opportunity to meet and develop relationships but have this shared world be limited in size, look vastly different than the swamp, forest, desert motif so it's not so "samey" and there players are able to setup either a single player or cooperative player home base (or go to a solo world of their own) which they can then venture from into other new and varied worlds (looking much different than their base world). No harvesting in the base world, no creature fighting or anything there, just a quick loading base to call home and possibly in a shared world with a few other base slots. There you could have the opportunity to interact with other players and where the npcs then can send you on quests, maybe tell you to go to specific realms, fight such and such creatures, or explore whatever and work on crafting and upgrading tiers, etc. Harvest the items out there in the other realms and use that new Peyps network to get materials back. BUT, it needs more than just crafting and upgrading as it's focus.
Thanks
tip 1 don't play barb its useless
Another tip in line with this video is to hit tab to open your inventory or left and right mouse to use weapons
Tell everyone about the Squire and how to set their base gear.
This right here, these "tips" aren't gonna help anyone get better lmao
It’s a 1 yo video lads…
@@EdWuncler3rdAnd these tips were a year.old.whem he made the video lol
@@irishmudslide1544 back then the game was available for 2 weeks at a time 😂
This is old news
Tnx 4 the tips😊
These tips are from early play tests a year ago. So much has changed by now
Learn how to boss in goblin caves, learn what attributes you need to level up your build & learn to utilise the marketplace for profit and to buy good gear so you can slay the noobs
oh boy the steam experts have arrived
These old playtest clips give me nostalgia
real
use too they fucked him.
Thanks for reviewing these smaller indie games!
Lmao this aged like room temp milk
вода в уши
N and Ner
These tips are trash lmao
So this is from the playtest a year ago. I was wondering why someone would come in so stupid and be a bitch for no reason, but then I saw all your subscriptions 😂
I may be a noob... but even i can tell this is just bad advice overall
This didn't age well 😂
It's a fair review. I played it on game pass when it came out. It was good fun while it lasted. I got about 30 hours in it so it's probably a $30 game in all fairness. As I said I played it on game pass so it cost me my months subscription. If you've got game pass it's well worth a look but at the same time it won't spend much time on your hard drive.
personally i bring campfires to recharge second wind, and use taunt buff in active combat since its a 10 sec cooldown
shit tips
How can I get friends to play with?
unfortunatly, you'll have to make it clap
This mission pays well, but it's better to run the construction mission in the forest for cash, as you can get that done a lot faster without threat of dying. Polar bears are very tough. Even the scorpions take time to kill.
One thing I learned, if you're going into the desert, don't do anything until you made at least 10 healing potions and 10 bandages minimum. Cougars will always rip you a new one, scorpions are easy to keep out of harms reach. There are a ton of cougars and scorpions to deal with in the desert, so plan accordingly. If you start a fight with a scorpion, it alerts other scorpions and cougars in the area. I hope this helps.
Game is on Gamepass now
Fastest characters in the game... I think that this information is outdated since druids got released.
all classes are fast as fuck now, even a fricken Barb can have 110% movement speed, and 103% with a 2h
my druid is at 135% with base gear, so 110% even if fast is kind of slower than druids. + being able to rat jump most doors and thier double jump combined with panther jump, so I think druid is still fastest. Unless you go bear then you're the slowest xD You do bring a good point tho.
@@detrix9043 100%, i wasnt disagreeing druids are fast ! I was just blown away the fact a Truck can move at 110% lol
I thought this was new 😂
it did
I cannot recommend this tutorial
All of this tips depend on the build you're using. Maybe you prefere Adrenaline to Second Wind with a Slayer Fighter. Or maybe you don't use Weapon mastery bc your build doesn't use weapons of another class
If anything replace sprint with adrenaline if u want it that badly but it's genuinely not worth it. Personal opinion on this one but weapon mastery is mandatory because spears or nothing. There so good. Promise you you start running them you'll never look back
@@jeffreylenz577 In Slayer fighter you use adrenaline to kill the oponent quickly before they can hit you twice. And fighter has literally all of the weapons in the game to chosse and has like 70 builds. Weapon mastery is only needed if you're going to use certain build, but the best thing of fighter os the versatility that it has. Longsword and Falchion are really god, arming sword is really good too
1 h one dollar upsi over 200 h gameplay
Felling axe is a terrible tip, it's insanely hard to use. Extremely discouraging for a new player. The zweihander is S tier and so hard to screw up using.
CORRECTION: The game updates for free and the DLCs are cosmetic vertions + few decrative blocks. All essential and important features are in base game.
ty for the video but empyrion has made a lot of changes that you might like so if you brought it to their attention thank you so much lol
recently there an exotic firearm so this might change.
But second wind is a 1 time cast? How can you use it every time you're in combat 😅
it regens while resting and i think all pro players bring at least 1 campfire with them
@@Jedi7969 oh! I tried to recharge it by sitting, but didnt realise campfires would do it. Thanks for thr info :)
