Darlene My life with Parkinson's
I am an older model woman in my 60s that was diagnosed with Parkinson's approximately 10 years ago. It took me awhile to realize that this was really happening and that I was changing. As I lose somethings that make me unique I wanted my family to have a way to remember me as I was not how the disease made me become. This is my story as it is, the good, the bad and the unfortunate. I hope you laugh and are encouraged and if we shed a tear now and then it's no worries for life is life and what we do with it is our choice.

Hi Darlene, When I use talk to text, which I prefer to do, it always misunderstands me. I just remember that everyone knows it messes up, and figuring out what I actually said is just a fun brain exercise for whoever is reading it. 😁

My family always goes to Costco for big hauls (which does make sense)! I do love Chinese food (sweet and sour pork is great; it is really nice that my family's Chinese so they know how to make a good amount of the foods or at least go to Chinese restaurants)! Enjoy! You will be up and out jogging again before you know it 🙃 About reading ?,during the pandemic when everything was closed Joan and I each bought an e-reader (Kobo) I really like mine. I can download a maximum of 5 e-books from the city libraries. I can set mine up on a stand. and it is so easy to turn the pages. I was laughing at your story about crossing guards. I actually worked as a school crossing guard here in town, for 9 years. after I retired from my full time job. I have a close friend living near Melbourne Australia who also worked as a crossing guard, over there (but crossing children not roos) Be safe, Len

Hello Darlene, hope you sleep better too. It is getting chilly here. I burp as soon as the camera goes on. You yawn. Exercise is impotent to keep the core strength. I need to work on mine too. Fish sounds great. Tuna snack is a good snack. I use to cut my parent’s toe nails. My mom had terrible nails. My dad’s were like finger nails. Unfortunately I have my mom’s toenails wish I had nails like my dad. Sorry her eye is giving her trouble. Glad he is almost done with school. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓

Good morning, Darlene . Poor Claudine, I wonder what happened with her eye. One morning I woke up and the entire white part of my eye was blood red. Scared me to death, and I have no idea what caused it. We are supposed to have a thunderstorm during the night. I hope it happens as we are so dry.

Hi Darlene, What a joy having Finn on your lap, "No Way" made me laugh he is too cute. My daughter has a boy and girl and the boy keeps her very busy too. Chinese food was a nice treat. We had Chinese food last week for lunch before going into Costco LOL Great Costco Haul it sure does add up fast but the items last for awhile. Take care and have a great day xoxo

my left ear is my weak ear. I put my wife on that side if she is giving me heck. If she is ever whispering sweet nothings she goes on the other side 😊

Hi Darlene, The dreams we have and remember about family and friends are magical aren’t they ? I love hearing about those precious moments when the little ones come over to visit as they sure do bring smiles to your face. I wish my littles lived closer as they bring so much joy.
