  @@lNachete ¡Gracias! Es una gozada, la verdad. Y el sonido del V8 diésel resulta adictivo. jaja Lo tengo desde enero y le he hecho bastantes cosas como brazos de suspensión, discos y pastillas, Poly con tensor y polea, etc. Pero problemas como tal no, simplemente es mantenimiento que necesita por la edad.   That engine is a 2.5 litre 5 cylinder AUDI engine, first introduced in the VOLVO 850.

  Hombre, es que el 430 es un V8. Eso es otro nivel. El 230 Kompressor se mueve muy bien para ser un 4 cilindros. Con la ayuda del compresor da la sensación de llevar un V6 de 3 litros más o menos, con buenos bajos. Eso sí, la suavidad no es la misma. El CLK 430 tiene que ser una pasada. Maquinón. Ahora tengo un S400 CDI W220. Subiré algún vídeo en breve. Saludos.

  This is such an awesome car. I have an almost-exact 1:18 diecast model of this W211 (E320, but not a CDI, lighter wood panels, and LHD). These cars are so attractive and both the sedan and wagon (sorry, estate!) look equally beautiful. I was considering an E420 CDI, but it was too expensive.

  Thanks a lot! What's the manufacturer making the diecast model? It would be nice to have the small version (1:18 or 1:43) of the 1:1 car. haha I absolutely love the car, it's so cool, economical and practical, while being a joy to drive. The estate version was a must for me since I was looking for a car in which I can fit all my tools and car parts with ease, but the sedans are also very nice and more elegant. The RHD contributed to getting a low price for a good condition 211, and to be honest I don't really notice it after getting used to it (it's weird af at first though lol). The only think I didn't like that much is the fact that it lacks Airmatic and has the sports suspension, which makes it ride harsher, but god does it look good with that stance and handles like a dream with this setup! Can't complain really. The E400 and E420 CDI are unicorns.haha It's the only E segment car with a V8 diesel, very cool. But your F segment 740d E38 is one of the coolest cars out there too, that's for sure. 😎

  @@E34Benzin It's Kyosho and mine's even 's for sale if you want it, haha. I have a 1:18 scale of the W211 and 1:43 models of the previous gen. wagons. Wagons are extremely useful. I have a Fiat Croma and ever since starting to use my E38 a daily I recognize the shortcomings of sedans either when grocery shopping or road trips. I command you on driving a RHD car. I can barely feel comfortable taking the bus when visiting the UK!

  @@adamflower1715 Mmm, interesting. How much do you want for it? Do you have a link to the sale? I've checked it out and it's the Elegance version, but I guess it's as close as I can get to a replica of my 1:1 car. xD To me it's the opposite, I've always had sedans and gotten used to their limitations, but now I can see how useful wagons are. They make so much sense. haha It's weird but once your brain gets used to RHD you don't even think about it and feels normal. I even like it more that way because it's different, but it also has its limitations in a LHD country.

  @@E34Benzin Hmm, maybe my comment got blocked due to the ebay link. Let me know if you can't see it. I'm really into diecast cars and with enough 3D resin printing and painting you can make any model look just like yours. I have a resin printer, so if there are any additional items to print that you have 3D models for, I'm down. But making it a RHD would be quite a challenge.

  @@adamflower1715 Yes, it must have gotten blocked because I can't see it. Maybe if you copy it with spaces I can see it and then copy past it into the URL bar. Wow, that would be awesome! But too much work I guess, I don't mind having the LHD version even if it's not 100% accurate to mine. The Avantgarde look would be cool too, but I guess is good enough as the model is. The wheels should be changed, also the front grill and interior wood to match the Avantgarde instead of the Elegance.

  What’s the A/M switch near the shift mean?

  It's for the manual mode. In M it will shift to the specific gear when selecting it from D-4-3-2 while in A the number means it will use all the gears up to the number you selected. That's in the American version, mine being European had S/E/* modes, and in * (winter mode) it behaved like in manual mode (sarting in 2nd gear instead of 1st).

  It indeed sounds as quiet as many owners claim it to be! I am looking for 1. Is the 2.0 sluggish, the shifts? I will be mainly highway cruising, don't need a torquy, speedy car

  If you're looking for a smooth highway cruiser this Maxima with its silky V6 and the 4 speed autobox is perfect. The ride is great too, very cushy.

  I no longer have that car. 😢 Those were good times... The gearbox is very responsive for the time period, the ZF 5HP30 is one of the best automatics from the 90s. From '94 (if I'm not mistaken)they started to be adaptive, but mine being a '92 felt pretty good too. In Sport mode I don't think you'll have any complains for spirited driving. :)

  @@E34Benzin yo la verdad ya llevo 2 Volvos un S70 2.0 gasolina 126 cv y el tuyo el D5 s80 163cv, ni un problema osea el gasolina era Gastón pero ni un problema solo cosas sueltas como el captador ABS y que el cuentakilómetros se apagaba de repente

  Este coche es muy peligroso, debido a la insonorizacion y la comodidad no te enteras que igual vas a 180km/h a mi me ha pasado tengo que ir atento mirando al cuenta kilometros. Es muy buen coche por lo menos cuando me entere de que tenia cruise control pues a 140km/h 3 horas sin tener que ir atento de que no vayas a 200, un gran diseño por parte de volvo. Estos si eran coches de verdad, yo creo que las marcas ya han dejado de entender la definición de la palabra "coche".

  Changes transmission shift program , W is "winter" which starts in 2nd gear unless high throttle and shifts slower/earlier, and S is "standard" which starts in 1st and shifts quicker.

  Sin duda. Es un coche cómodo y perfectamente funcional. En cuanto a repuestos el motor diésel es de origen BMW así que deduzco que comparte muchas piezas con los 320d y 520d de la época. Es una lástima que Rover ya no exista como marca, pero sigue habiendo muchos recambios disponibles. Saludos.

  They're very similar, but the 230 has a greater displacement and more power. 193hp in the 230K vs. 163hp in the 200K. I'd go for the 230 if both are in similar shape. :)

  @@martintushev8337 Being a Mercedes I would definitely go for the auto. Their manuals tend to be a bit sluggish and flimsy.
