I own same year S Class (august 1992 mdel 93) very great car.i look for information on low power since middle 93 year .why older are 406/408hp and since end of 1993 years its given for 394/396 hp

The difference is mainly due to stricter emissions regulations. 91-93 models are the most powerful and fastest accelerating, but since 94-95 they become a bit more economical, specially the ones with the 5 speed transmission.
