  My grandfather married an Australian. My grandparents were married for 49 years before they died 24 hours apart from covid in March 2020. My grandfather always said this about Australia: “Everything is upside down!!” From driving on the left side of the road to spending Decembers on the beach and not by the fireplace. I went to Australia in May 2023 with my mom and I had a great time. And NO, I did not get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle haha.

  Blinker stock is normally by the door so yes the right in "right hand" drive countries(Even if you would shift with the inside hand). They also normally use handbrakes and manual transmissions but Americans are lazy so autos. Even though every owners manual and drivers manual says to use it. Also, you could get a right hand drive vehicle and she would feel more natural except the side of the road.

  Thats awesome for you both. I cried. More because my bf in the us (I'm in Australia) says he doesn't want to visit (he says he cant afford to have time off work and doesnt know when he can). I'm not sure he would have the same reaction if I surprise visit.

  You are absolutely correct and with the travel time is to have a lap top to have as your log book. Travel to Australia is long when you get there things are different but the food and the places you will see are some of the best.
