Omg I’ve been trying to find a vlog on these windows ! Absolutely fabulous ❤❤
Id love to watch u two go at it in the bedroom
Where did you buy the rear slider windows from in Australia. Cheers Derek
Hey Derek, I got ours through OZvan they have a few different types. www.ozvan.com.au
I just installed one of these. I decided to go above the trim and built a platform. Use goggles! I got a sliver of metal in my eyeball even with sunglasses.
That’s awesome yea it’s kind of an awkward spot you either have to cut down or build up, I ended up with a bit of a platform on mine too.
What kind of sealant did you use on the water heater? Just regular anti-sag lap sealant?
We used sika-flex around the box to bound to the metal.
I am researching what heater to install in my Mercedes Sprinter Conversion. I had selected the IMASS instantaneous Water heater to be installed exactly the same location as yours. Which I believe is the same as yours. I requested what else I required from the supplier for the install I had chosen too powerful a pump. Then they started suggesting other water heaters which partly use heat from the diesel hot air blower plus 12 volts to heat the water. i have solar panels on the roof. But consider heating water from the 12 volt system too big a drain. I did not like anything interfering with the 12 volt supply as it is vital for starting the van. Under my van I have a LPG tank and a water tank where the spare wheel was. My spare wheel is on the back door. If anything happens to the LPG supply it is not a big deal I can go without LPG at a push. I carry spare Diesel. I will stick to my original idea and follow you. But I will take off the plastic panels/trim from the van side before cutting the hole and raise the IMASS instantaneous water heater up 4 inches from the floor. Thank you for sharing your experience. Sikaflex is very messy stuff to work with.
Yea so many different ways of doing it all, sounds like you’ve done some awesome research… haha sikaflex is the devil
I don't think they had the "no swinging the bridge" sign when we were there years ago - at least Christine didn't see it anyways! 😲😲🤪🙄
Haha 😂 I’m sure the didn’t 😉 such a beautiful place
Amazing must go place in Tasmania
Ohh it is beautiful we can’t wait to go back again.
Terrible install, screwing into the floor, crazy! all yu need was glue pr adhesive product. no screws to make holes into the floor,
Hey Brad and Jaz I too am about to start on my build and like you watched so many vids, esp on insulation. The big thing that almost sent me astray as most on the insulation vids are designed for USA and Europe which get damn cold and snow. We in Oz do not get that unless you go up the moutains. So our climate is HOT most of the year. In looking at your vid for putting on the reflective foam unsulation to reflect the heat, 99% of the vids say DO NOT stick it to the walls of the van you must have at least a 25mm gap for it to work correctly, then another gap for your XPS board also in OZ no need for vapour barrier as the van will heat very quickly and evaporate any moisture. These are what I have been told by listening to a bucket load of vids. My question to you after all the blurb is, how did you find the insulation worked? Cheers Terry
Hey Terry, all absolutely valid points you make and I don’t think there is a 100% right answer as it all depends on who you talk to, I did a fair bit of research as I was finding a bit of conflicting information as well. I can’t give you a 100% answer as we are still building out our van but I can tell you it hasn’t seemed to get as hot as bare metal and it definitely is warmer inside when it’s cold out.
Looks like a really cool spot to stay!
Ohh it was incredible mate can’t wait to go back and see more of tassie
Comfy cozy vibes ❤
It felt so much like home haha
Wow that tiny home is BEAUTIFUL, love it. Tassie is such a lovely place to visit. Glad you got to have a holiday, you definitely deserve it. 🥰
We loved it, It definitely gave us some ideas for what we want in future. Tassie was amazing 🙏❤️
Love Tassie. Great you guys got to have a combined trip, it’s such a beautiful part of the world down there. Love ya jacket Jazz 😁💜
It’s stunning even in the winter. We can’t wait to go back soon 🙏 the jackets definitely came in handy.
How much is that Airbnb ? I want to stay there.
I think it differs based on days, time of year etc but here is the link abnb.me/KDTR52AFxAb
@@BradandJaz thanks
@@flipperj394 no problem I hope you get down there 🙏
I'm jealous...lovely accommodation...and lovely scenery xx
It was amazing and we only saw such a small part we can’t wait to go back 🙏
That was an impressive AirBnB - hope you guys had fun in Tassie😃
Oh it was amazing both the airbnb and Tasmania we can’t wait to go back 🙏
Hey guys, I've just come back and rewatched because I'm up to this step! With your 240v wiring, does each cable run singly from the inverter area to each power point? Or can you have more than one point per wire? I'm running tight on space for conduit because of the way my Iveco is built but I want to do it properly! Cheers
We ran ours as a single wire to each spot, I’m it sure what the regulations state with 240v unfortunately. We are going to have ours all properly connected by a electrician but we aren’t quite up to that yet.
@@BradandJaz thanks!
Hi Great vids really enjoyed watching,I have just purchased a Mercedes sprinter mwb, suddenly the side door has stopped opening, how did you sort this?Cheers
Ahh bugger we had to get our slider chain replaced via Mercedes unfortunately
Thank you for sharing 😊blissfully peaceful
Stunning part of the world was our pleasure to share it
Looks great..well done ..u getting a tan there Bradley, just like dad lol xxx
Haha I got more than a tan on this one haha full burnt oops 😬
Coming together nicely. Keep up the good work👍
Thanks legend slowly getting there
Great work guys! Can you set the cat amongst the pigeons and tell us why you Parallel Vs Series?
Haha I’ve read so much and there are so many different opinions, we just chose one and went with it 😂 I was most concerned about the potential shading issue, although you can find positives for series aswell.
Im going parallel also because of the fact that if ive got even a slight amount of shade from an awning across 1 or 2 or 3 panels ..boom there goes the series efficiency and pretty sure my awning will have shade on the panels. So i but the bullet too and went parallel Im Going with the bushwakka extreme darkness 270 not the traditional grey nomad fiamma ;) Just my 2 cents haha
Ah yes, makes sense. No one wants to park in full sun all the time in Australia 🤣 @ssandyvan3692 funnily enough I'm looking at awnings right now. The Fiamma is going to suit me best I think, I need the bead for the Dometic inflatable annex.
@@thehastywombat yea we are still debating anex or no Anex haha too many decisions
Great one ! So much better when you can be off grid more 😊
Thank you, hopefully it will be enough to keep us off grid as much as possible.
LOVE it guys 😊❤
Nice to get this one out the way even if I did turn into a crisp lol 😂
Hey crispy B-Rad it’s going to be worth it. 😊👍
Haha I hope so 🙏
Beautiful! I love the drone footage. Jaz won, of-course.
Such a stunning place. Haha Jaz winning on the technicality lol
I have no idea how the game works....it's a sisterhood thing....Jaz won. lol
Ah, I didn’t get what you meant at first, but the demo explained it.
Yea it just sat on the mower and rubbed everytime you went over a small bump so we thought best to fox it now before we get too far into the framing.
Only in Australia are you morally obligated to give chocolates to the flight attendant once you arrive without crashing! 😆
Haha as long as they get me there I’ll give them chocolates everytime lol. Nah just a little Xmas present for the crew
Hi, Chelsea and Mike here. We have never been this side of the world. It was great. We really want to go now ! Wow great. We have liked and subbed to see more from you! Chelsea and Mike
Hey guys thanks so much for joining us on the journey, it’s a stunning spot glad you enjoyed it 🙏
I made the mistake of watching this on a Monday morning 🙄Now I don't want to work 😂 Such a pretty place to visit.
Haha it definitely makes you want to take the time off hey. It’s a beautiful spot
What a beautiful vlog guys . My mum was born and grew up on a farm in Ceduna and still has a few family in streaky bay, I sent her the link to watch . The most stunning coast line I’ve ever seen. Love the music and drone footage . Look forward to the next one ! Xx
It is such a beautiful part of the world, Jasmin’s grandparents lived in Ceduna for quite a while as well. The coast line Is truly incredible it was amazing to check it out for a few days and will definitely be back 🙏
@@BradandJaz they might of known my grandparents as their family from Ceduna . My mum was baptised in the church there and grew up on their farm in Ceduna and moved to Adelaide in the mid 50’s when her father became ill. She’s been beck a few times over the years . It’s a long drive though ! X
@@LauraBellaX small world hey they probably do
Just beautiful out there, I loved the years I got to spend so much time out there. Grandad loved it too 😊💜
It’s definitely a amazing place, so many picturesque spots and it feels so relaxed, I can imagine grandad loving it 😍

@@BradandJaz hahah! Nice and random! :)
@@CLFurlong haha especially on a fishing road lol
Wow that was excellent, even the music suited .real pros....we loved having u stay here with us in our litte paradise . Thanks for sharing ..x
We had a great time checking everything out. Haha I think the scenery made the video
Jaz - I touched it so I win 😂 beautiful edit guys x
Haha 😂 well I guess technically she did win lol 😂
That would have been good to get an idea of what not to do toy your own van.
Absolutely we definitely got a few ideas of what we liked and wanted to make sure we had on our build
Looks all professional.
Haha thank you definitely happy with how it turned out 🙏
Decorating that wheel arch looked fun
Haha yes it was definitely a challenge
Everyone focuses on just cutting the hole. That’s the easiest part. What about your wiring? What about the frame you made underneath? Tips on that stuff would be so helpful but very difficult to find on youtube
Hey mate thanks for the comment, I did touch on the frame in the vid, and the wiring is going to be done as part of the overall electrical set up. As our build has a few stages to get through before we get to that but i will try to show what it all looks like.
@@BradandJaz don’t mind me, I was just grumpy after watching 37 videos on fan installation on KZread 😩😩😩 Happy new year 🖤
@@demonhogo haha no your all good man I get it, it’s frustrating and can be hard to find the right info.
Amazing vid guys, cool to see you hit the road and have a little getaway
Thanks guys was a nice quick trip but enjoyed it, wish we had a bit more time to see some sights but still loved it
Cool trip guys! Did you do any Op Shops? There are some good ones in Horsham! 😊
Thanks mate we had an awesome time unfortunately we where on a tight schedule but hopefully next time
@@BradandJaz You'll have to try and make it all the way to Nagambie next time! 😜

Thanks Tommy, it was such a nice trip wish we had a few more days to go and explore a bit more but can’t way to get out and about again.
Best surprise ever!!! So cool to see your journey and it took you 2 hours less than Judda and I 😅
Haha thanks mate it was an awesome trip, was so good to catch up with you all, haha not going 30 mins in the wrong direction probably helped
Awesome video guys. Cool to see you finally hit the road. And appreciate you coming down to visit. Such a fun weekend ❤
Thanks mate it was an awesome weekend all round, enjoyed being on the road even if it was for a quick trip 🙏
Thanks for sharing your mini road trip, I am still getting used to all the tiny little towns every few kms. It takes fooor evvver to get anywhere AND 100km speed limits! Oh I do miss 130km speed limit . Love it 😊
