  I just finished the show, I loved it up until the ending. Having everything open ended is just lazy at this point. I don’t care if it was for symbolism or something, just give me an ending where I’m not left angry

  This series is so weird. I loved it, and watched it within a few days. All of this despite feeling that the characters were strange, many of their decisions didn't really make any sense to me, and that many times Kenzo's journey would have finished within the first 3 episodes if it weren't for his plot armor. The character stories seemed a bit incomplete. Rodney was such a good character, but he got such an underwhelming ending, not even being reunited with a mother who can guide him, but rather a mom that clearly is the responsible for his deepest flaws. Amazing story. Shit characters that I still fell in love with somehow. I mean, Kenzo is the most bland character I've seen, but still I wanted him to live a happy life instead of his brother. Shit ending that I enjoyed nonetheless.

  I seem to remember when Ted first sees Victoria the narrative kids ask if she was mom. Narrator Ted just said they all have a lot to learn, but i cant find that on the DVD.

  Just finished Bloodhounds, and while its tone was quite different from Giri/Haji, it is also very similar; in that it depicts the complicated web of relationships and loyalties laid within a criminal underworld. The ending scene of G/H was constantly on my mind as I worked my way through Bloodhounds, so I really enjoyed revisiting it. Thank you!

  Absolutely fantastic show we’ve seen in a long time, simply brilliant! The actors were just phenomenal & I loved them all, particularly Rodney & Kenzo & Kelly Macdonald was superb. The dance sequence near the end was extraordinary! Love love love it & want another series PLEASE!

  Not sure how helpful this is now. But he's Yuto's accomplice at the bookmakers. He gets shot, and Yuto shoots the guy who killed him. Kenzo goes over to check if Sora's killer is dead, and finishes him off

  The similarity between Victoria and Tracy is crazy. Both had met Ted at his friend's wedding (as the contractor) Both had romantic music experience during/prior that wedding All of Ted's friends were really like them Both could read Ted's mind Both were wife materials

  I hated the ending it made it same like he just used Tracy to get kids (cus Robin didn’t want/ couldn’t have any) just so he could get what he wanted (kids) and then be able to go back to Robin 🙄 Barney and Robin should of stayed together and they shouldn’t of killed Tracy, it’s a shame cus the rest of the show was quit good

  Robin had to get married first before Ted found Tracey. That says a lot. Basically Robins door had to be shut before Ted let someone else take her place. If she didn't get married, would Tracey and Ted stayed together? And it took them a few years to get married. WOW! Robin was too much. Great show. Great cast.

  I agree! Victoria was like Tracey, just perfect to Ted but the difference is that Tracey understands Ted's past, but victoria doesn't! She accepted all his friends (Robin too) and she was who insists to make her present in their wedding! Tracey understands the Robin story because she also has a similar story called '' Max ''! Robin was for Ted like Max was for Tracey! That's why the mother was perfect for Ted, she fits in with him, she was his soul mate, like his reflection on the mirror! That's why she was the one! That's why Robin, for the first time, respected Ted's relationship and just leave him in peace!

  Different case for Victoria and tracy. Ted didn't Cheat on tracy with Robin and went onto a long term relationship with Robin after dumping her... Tracy didn't experience all that cuz Robin was at that point married to Barney.. Tracy didn't experience all the heartbreak and backstabbing by Ted and his close friend Robin.

  The moment where Victoria tells Ted it's alway's been and always will be Robin is so clear to Ted in the show bc he's literally telling it as a story and recollection. This entire show is supposed to show how even though it was a journey to meet and love Tracy, through the whole series Ted is just purely reflecting on how Robin and him never worked out because of timing and differences. Now that he's had his dream marriage and family from Tracy, Robin is able to make her way back into his narrative. He tells the story of how he met Tracy with with love for Robin as well as lovingly making piece with his story with Tracy. There's no way his kids didn't know how they met before this moment because Ted and Tracy loved telling stories! He told this story with purpose surrounding Robin.

  The mother should have been introduced earlier. Or at least season 9 should have have season half wedding half hanging out with the mom. Said was not telling the kids how he met the mother. He was telling the stories of his twenties and talked about the mom for like 30 seconds

  I rewatched too so it wasn't a let down... Binging it made it easier to cope with the death of the.mom... That i feel like i caught on at the end of season 8...but obviously when she says what mother doesn't make a daughters wedding

  As I've watched the series over too many times I've come to dislike Robin. She only wants Ted when he's in a good relationship. I think Victoria was a good match. Tracy was a good match too and that him still wanting Robin long after Tracy's death is either lazy or pathetic it made me sad. He was still settling Barney's 2nds.

  I don´t know why but I started to think about when Zoey says that we don´t know who the good or bad guy is until the end (parafrasing). I think this strikes at the core of the show, just look at Victoria she would have been in an unhappy marriage in the end. But in the end both parts went away happier. And we see this in other parts of the show all of the break ups we know an ending to we know they where both happier after some time.

  From the deleted scene with Ted and Robin at the restaurant, the intention was that Tracy is and always will be Ted's ultimate love, even when Robin suggests they should've been together after it's just Ted and his kids. The show could've been done better and conveyed that message if it wasn't rushed imo. While this video highlights Ted's worst moments, I don't believe it's fair to say he's a terrible person cuz ppl make mistakes, are flawed, is clearly reflecting on these things through his story and that's life.

  I recently thought that the show should of followed Lilly&Marshall which is a win win for the show to have storylines of someone falling in love with a mother&father and change Ted&barney storyline has the bromance as Ted would keep Victoria has his final girl and Robin for Barney that would of been a better version of How I Met Your Mother

  To quote a certain F1-teamboss: No no no this is so not right. Yes, the re-inclusion of Victoria was bad writing, but no, the relationship with the mother did not fail or get overshadowed by Robin. The whole message to get from Ted and Tracy is, things can be perfect but sometimes life or in the mother's case, unfortunately, death, gets in the way. This is also the point of Barney and Robin's divorce. Yes, I think it is bad that they rekindled Ted and Robin in the last 5 minutes of the series, but Tracy remains the one.

  The writers didnt know Tracy was going to be the mother, they originally intended for Victoria to be the mother if the show didnt get renewed.

  I feel like writing Victoria to travel to different country is same as in Smallville Lana became radioactive to Clark, writing a reason why they couldn't be together although great chemistry and fan favorite
