  Congrats on your new journey. I started my locs 12/12/23, so we are walking this walk at the same time. That “bud” is definitely a bud. You are well on your way thru the loc process. Your. hair is gorgeous!!

  I made that last mistake you mentioned. When I got took my braids, weaves out, didn't give my hair enough time to get some air and do some proper treatments.
