Hello, I'm Sarah and my channel features videos about various fiber and yarn crafts. You'll find videos of me prepping fiber for spinning, spinning fiber into yarn, dyeing fiber and yarn, and other various crafts. In the future I'm planning on a series of videos where I make a fun and colorful scarf using techniques that don't include your standard knitting and crochet, as well as various how-to and opinion pieces.

Thanks for the demo. I have spun with a top whirl spindle, but not a bottom whirl one. The bottom whirl I have has a hook coming out the top of the spindle, and I wasn’t sure how that should be used.

What produce did you use as the sparkle? And where can I get some?
It's called angelina fiber, and it's a synthetic, man-made type of fiber, similar to glitter. I source mine from sellers on Etsy. 1/4 to half an ounce will go a very long way depending on usage. Holographic and iridescent are some of my favorites.

I’ve always wanted to learn how to spin. The drop spindle looks like something I could handle. Thanks for the video!
The drop spindle is how I started. I recommend a wooden one that won't break easily, as drop spindles often live up to their name. I still drop mine from time to time, but not as much as when I started.

@justaperson4656 How I wind it on is how I wind it off. I recommend a container so it doesn't roll everywhere or just hold it in your lap
