It isn't THAT hard to see why a city wouldn't prioritize demolishing a trailer park. They tend to be in more rural or out of the way locations on the outskirts of towns. Lack of money on somebody's part is how they get abandoned in the first place and then it costs even more to demo and haul, especially if foundations or septic tanks have to be dug up. I've seen quite a few abandoned trailer parks on KZread, kinda on a tear watching them now!

The previous notion that trailers are for gypsies or travelers is obsolete. It is statistically proven that less than 1% of mobile homes are actually relocated from their initial placement. In 2020 the cost of moving a manufactured home is about $5,000 and many parks are closing and thus have limited space to receive a home.

Yes, this is definitely Broadway Trailer Park in West Memphis where Damien Echols lived at 2706 S. Grove back in 1993 and where he was arrested for the triple child murder. I can clearly see the street signs "Grove", "Oak" and "Elm" in your video. Back in 2013 there was what was left of a sign for Broadway Trailer Park. images2.imgbox.com/37/2a/0OXkjjea_o.jpg That pic came from a video from 2013 where some curious people visited Damien's old neighborhood and trailer... kzread.info/dash/bejne/gGiYrNaSebzgps4.html (1:35 and 6:35 in your video) Thank you very much for a tour of what's left of the trailer park.

@@trvamedia If you ever go back there to do another video, if the Broadway Trailer Park sign still exists it is about 200 feet down Grove Drive on the right as you enter the park from Broadway Ave (the main drag) images2.imgbox.com/79/5a/my922IA5_o.jpg It looks like you had just driven by it at the very beginning of your video, if it was still there. • @trvamedia
