Stewart for sure. Best and when he wanted to be the fastest Carmichael...... Ricky stayed before retirement to prove the point, GOAT just fact. Easy to think current guys would have a chance because their not on the track, if they both were, sorry your boy be competing for 3rd, just reality........😮

  • @gabbybean5438

It's so easy for different generations to think otherwise cause they just don't know...... Stewart was and more than likely will always be the fastest by a LONG shot easily. In their prime with all their drive, nobody could even stay close much less win. Just simple fact.

8:20 That's a tail whip not a scrub. A tail whip doesn't make you go faster, he was just on the gas to go faster.

10:07 Another tail whip and not a scrub. You see he was going faster before the jump. A tail whip is not a scrub and actually would create more drag in the air. It can help set up a corner.

I think a lot more people are realizing James Stewart was overrated. He was mainly just dangerous for the other riders and dirty. A lot of top guys can go fast but it’s dangerous to do so. We also can’t overlook taking adderal which is literally legal version of meth and makes people more aggressive and “fast”.

I will say it when james was in his grove no man ever was faster around a motocross track not carmicheal not anyone ever. Seen most of the greats race, this guy when he was in the zone was faster around a track than anyone and could pull off moves no one else got close to. he was full speed win or crash. many times he could have let off with huge lead but was not his nature, he was WFO 100% do or die. I have seen in person from hannah to current riders. james was faster than them all. He had skills rhythm in whoops corner speed and ability to jump a house. Had no weak spots.

there is no question who was the fastest in history is Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy Mcgrath, and Ricky Johnson in that order I doubt we will see another Ricky Carmichael for a while, bubba is after them he's a great rider but you have Roger Decosta, David Baily, Jeff Ward and Chad Reed and as many more who were some of the best in history Bubba is a great roll model and an inspiration to Young guys
