How to backup a trailer in reverse? I want to see how to back up a trailer forwards 😂😂
@louisianaguy26616 күн бұрын
I recently installed new speakers in my Tacoma. Just fyi for anyone about to do this, it is easier to mate the speaker to the adapter bracket first, then mount it to the truck door as one unit. When I mounted the speaker to the adapter, I put a thin bead of silicone around the speaker edge first, then set it on the adapter then screwed the speaker to the adapter. It is probably unnecessary overkill, but I did not want the speaker to ever vibrate and rattle on the adapter. Also, I installed the wire harness adapter onto the speaker and zip tied the excess wiring to the speaker frame so that just the plug was sticking out of the hole in the adapter. I did not want extra lose wiring hanging inside the door and possibly get caught on the window mechanism. New speakers sound so much better than the junk speakers from the factory.

If you leave dip stick in and oil cap on until after you've removed the drain plug, it may slightly slow the flow.

Those 10 bolts holding on tranny pan are a PITA. They are threaded completely through the housing so the tops of them are exposed to weather, and gravity makes sure corrosion gets packed in tight. 4 of mine snapped, 60,000 miles . I snapped off N “easy out bit on one, so it’s a complete shit show on 1 hole now. Other 3 I drilled straight thought and re-tapped them. Easy enough but be careful on those 10 bolts

FYI, you don't have to remove the door blue handle piece on the door (3:45 on video) There are 2 clips behind the "door handle section" that hold the unit/section to the door panel. Just push those 2 clips behind the panel in and the entire piece "door handle section only" on panel comes off and then just feed it through the opening. Just look behind the door handle section and you will see what I am talking about-right hand side of 3:45 on video. At least on my 2014 F-150. Great video brother thanks you.

The filter is just a mesh screen. Only if varnish and sludge accumulate and you change fluid you should think about changing the filter.. Now that its done just do a drain and fill yearly and keep the fluid clean... I think i did a couple filter changes unnecessarily myself... you also risk bending pan, leaks...
@mysticjedi6730Ай бұрын
Measure what comes out first time at room temperature. Every time you drain whatever comes out and fill your predetermined amount. Switch to amsoil for your tranny and diferential.. penzoil ultra etc is fine for your engine but for longer drain fluids go with the best.. The fuel economy savings will pay for the extra cost of the fluid..

Definitely DO NOT run power > fuse > switch > load! It should AT LEAST be power > fuse (as close to power source as possible/reasonable) > switch > relay > load /// power > fuse > relay (with switch on negative) > load. Doing it the way in this video, could possibly, end with u saying "well look at that! We have light! Red and yellow light... Waving... Wow, that light just turned into a REALLY LOUD BALL OF LIGHT!" Title of the video should be "Not the best way to wire ANYTHING in a vehicle"

Also, do ur math and run the correct gauge wire, with suitable heat rated sheathing when it's in an engine bay. My minimum is cross-linked polyethylene XLPE and my hands down is Tefzel ETFE (there are more unreasonably better wire types, than that, and I recommend those, if u plan on reusing em after u blow up ur car from using this guy's method of wiring). Yes, wiring pos to load to neg will work... How long really is the issue

Your install has a high risk of fire. Your add-on fuse panel is rated for 100 Amps, which your total value of all fuses in the panel must add up to be less than. Your wire from the positive battery terminal to the panel and the ground wire from the panel to the negative battery terminal, or ground, needs to be sized for 100 Amps, which would be a minimum of 4 gauge wire. That power wire, from the battery to the fuse panel, must also be fused with a fuse rated between 90 to 100 Amps and placed as close to the battery as possible. The comments love your install, but your teaching unsafe practices.
