LOVE 😊
🤗💕 thank you!
👍💙🎇
Can't wait to try. Got lots of inspiration from watching you!
Love your ideas
Wonderful video and inspiring ideas. Thank you so much. Sending you love and peace from London UK ❤
I never thought of using the trash mail I get to make pages. Thanks!
Ohhhhh I love the way you make your collage papers.. my favourite process is very much the same
Finally found someone with the sense to create collage papers from your recycling. Its amazing how many artists out there use fresh copy paper🤔. Thanks for the inspiration and confirming what I have been doing for a while now, I also use inks and almost any pigment I can find. Its most satisfying when you finish of an ancient tube of paint and create an interesting page.😀😀😀
I think sometimes completely blank paper is necessary if your paint isn't opaque or covering everything, but we should definitely do more reusing of trash
This was such fun. I watched your video and then got out my paints and painted along with you. Thanks so much for the inspiration and great video!
Yep, watching paint be applied to a surface and then watching the paint dry. 9:24
This is exactlg what I need thank you
🎉
I had done the same things that you did with the painted papers. When I used the papers, they would stick together. What can be done so the papers won’t stick together?
If any medium is used in the paint, that can cause the papers to stick together. Plain acrylic dried well shouldn't stick.
Cardstock
Other than for your journals & scrap books Do you also use these papers in your more high end pieces for collage ?
I’m curious how you attach the papers ? ( into your old book )
Thank you for this!
What about archival quality? If it isn't acid free there may be an issue later with sold paintings.
🤓 THIS makes me very happy, it feels satisfying using the card. Best part is that this process is no stress. I am SOOO inspired!!.. Literally making a ton right NOW🤩Thank you💜
Question, hope this gets to you and I find a reply. How do you stick the papers into the book?
Oh I so love this idea. Sadly I don't have any paint at all at the moment
I have just found you and am loving what you are doing and showing me It is speaking to me Thank you
🦋🦋💜💙
😂😅😊
❤ Thank You
Do you have any advice for how to find your meaning? I feel like I've been looking for it for so long through journaling and art and meditation, but it still alludes me.
Oooooo! I love the scraper!!
Thank you! Lisa! Is this process preferable to gel printing? It does look great for collage!💕
This is my favorite of your videos, because it’s what I need. This is my third time watching it, and each time I learn something new. This time my learning is masking tape labels. I don’t have to make printed beautiful calligraphic labels, which prevents me from doing anything else. With quick masking tape labels, I can label each pike, even before I know where to put it, my table is clearer, and I can paint. Many thanks!

Really wonderful and useful information! Thanks.
thank you - so glad you enjoyed!
J'adore ❤😊
I have to say I love your seat on the couch next to your dogs. The energy seemed settled and grounded. This new way of filming allows your creativity and spirit to shine. Please keep sharing and showing up. It is like having you here along with me! I am curious how you like working with the new paints. I am always up for new supplies.
thank you Blythe! I'm still experimenting with those paints... will keep you posted!
This is perfect imperfection. I love watching your process and hearing your thoughts.
oh thank you so much for telling me! I appreciate it!
Lisa, Thank you. I really enjoyed this video. At one point you said, like we were sitting together in the studio. I was listening to while walking (one of my goals, exercise more) but yes, I thought that it would have been fun to sitting at a big table and just drawing and pasting and painting. Yes, like an art date. I am inspired to get my journal back out and use it for my vision board and daily visioning. Thanks for the other links. I look forward to watching them.
Oh goodie Deena! Others have mentioned they enjoy listening while driving, doing other things, and not having to sit and watch - so I'm excited about this format.
Lisa, I like what you said about imperfection. Many times I have backed away from doing things because I could not do it "perfectly" or whatever I thought that was. I am noticing now that I too am more willing to do things because I am not putting so much pressure to be perfect. I like the format of the video you did today. Thanks for all you do! Much Love, Rena
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this, Rena - I'm so glad it resonates!!! love to you, too!
This format of video is perfect! (Ironically!)
LOL! yay!
I love watching you work as you talk. Also, SO interesting that yesterday as I was working in my journal, I used a Basho quote: "There is nothing you can see that isn't Beauty." It was raining in Phoenix and I looked out on the street below and the asphalt had bloomed into flower-like shapes in the street. Synchronicity in play!
Wow! that's incredible, Carol!
I am thinking of starting a. Vision Book. Every day I do a small piece to tell me what to vision for that day. Progressing forward…..
yes! I have visual journals like that - the are POWER-FULL! enjoy!
Love this! I love the way it feels like an art date. I prefer the more casual approach, and always love watching you work/getting peeks into your sketchbook. You've inspired me to drag out my art supplies!
Mission accomplished - you getting out your art supplies! yay! thanks for the feedback!
I wanna go on an art date with you! I REALLY enjoy this! I'm in Rockaway, on the beach next time you're in Portland!
This is Lori Rome. How did I become just a user number??? lol!
Hi Lisa! What is that juicy paint you are using? I LOVE!! I love your videos where I feel like I'm on your sofa <3
I'm using gouache and tempera paint - and sometimes they are called by the same name!
I like this style of video very much. I’ve missed your videos.
aw... thanks so much for letting me know!
Love this video! I always prefer more natural, unscripted videos rather than something filtered and stylized, if that makes sense. Love seeing your studio space, and watching you paint. It’s relaxing and inspiring at the same time. Hope you have a glorious 2024! ❤
I appreciate your feedback, Melody! Thank you! wishing you all the best for 2024 too!
Inspiring and timely! Thank you for reminding me about allowing imperfection, I can sooooo relate to the overthinking. I have been attempting to "just do" this year... but the overthinking and the perfectionism are always lurking.
oh yeah! you're def not alone in overthinking and perfection!
p.s. just checked out your channel and am excited to follow your journey in 2024... looks exciting!
@@LisaSonora I was just about to type, I "think" 'underthinking' will become a thing when I realised the "think" word - I know I am an INTP (Myers/Briggs) but that is ridiculous 🙄. And thank you.
I have a similar entry in my journal: I'm doing a lot of thinking about UNDERTHINKING. which appeals to my INFP sense of humor. not everyone gets it. Sometimes I score INFJ - I wonder what tips the balance? @@thecreativeminimalist
