@thedbroom Coach/Anyone is under coverage taught to tip the ball in the air so that shell coverage can get interceptions? Or what situations are ideal to tip the ball in the air? I was always taught to knock the ball down.

I’ve been teaching High School for almost 30 years and I have to say, you are a really effective instructor!! Great job! This helped so much! I’m a lifelong Steelers fan and I am watching your videos to be a more educated fan of the game! You would make a great coach or teacher! We could use more great teachers like you!!!! 😅

After Sherman bails pre snap, his steps mirror the QB 5-step drop. Is that taught at nfl level or something he does on his own.

hey bro, jus found this video because of Madden lol. its an awesome explanation. tbh ive always loved football, even growing up but ive never really knew what it all really meant. i knew the qb was the one threw the ball or kept it. the running back was the one that would be small, fast and strong. and stood next to or behind the qb and that there was a defense to keep you from getting the td lol so thank you for this vid. its a great teaching of all the calls and positions.. and for a side note. loved you when you were in the D, you should come get a coaching job here in det. we need more Vets in the locker rooms talking to the boys and helping them grow. lets go #27!

You have a good teaching style. Im certain you could list all this off rapidly, but you do a lot of repetition and slower deliveries which I find helpful. Thank you

Is the 2nd example (lions vs Vikings) why are the LB’s so deep off the ball? Would a check to run make the D vulnerable in this situation?

Hey, I was wondering if you could answer some of my questions, so in cover 2, is it always covering the flats, or is it depended on if the halfback is going on that specific side. Another question is if the receiver is going deep in cover 2 do I fade into covering him or do I stay in flats. Thank you, and hopefully, you can answer these questions because they will really help
