I heard a busker in the subway play this once, a little faster, with a couple more wrong notes. More feeling here though, and helps to have an orchestra. The busker was using a drum machine, and a harmonica as his only accompaniment.
Dear Alex, another masterclass in excellence - bravo 👏 👏👏 Your talent is of the highest order and your unique playing appears to come from your very soul. May you go from strength to strength 💐💐💐xxx

Alexander Malofeev : is, without any of my own doubts, the GREATEST pianist that I have ever heard Sure Martha Argarich is outstandly good ... but even she cannot compare with the amazing Malofeev.

Straordinario talento unito a una bellezza nell'espressione del viso, Alexander è sublime come il genio che lo anima.❤
I played the piano pretty well, but my skill is so far beneath this beautiful composition. I wish I could play it, but I am content to watch his fingers fly over the piano keys!

I wonder what it would sound like if they took out the trumpet and put in more French horns 🤔 It's a stunningly beautiful piece. It tells a story for sure, very moving.

Look at his effing hair. That is quite deliberate. "Crazed, passionate artist." He could easily persuade us by his playing alone. He has lost a bit of my respect. "Oh, the artist is so artistic he cannot comb his hair before he performs." That is vanity. I would wager he actually messes it up. I will not listen to someone so full of vanity. There is no shortage of brilliant pianists -- and they come their hair before they come onstage.

One out of a hundred plus videos of Alexander's incredible performances on youtube and you erase him from memory because once he showed up with a messy (though interesting) hairdo? Btw, Malofeev is truly one of the least vain pianist alive today. He is SO humble and kind according to all that have met and know him. 'nuf said.
