This is just one of many songs my fine arts teacher had our class sing. Mr Edwards was British and as such, had rather great taste in music. I miss those days but I'm grateful I learned to sing and never gave it up.

This is the forward fuselage of the Blackbird tail number 61-17977 (SR-71A). My dad worked on this plane and watched it overrun the runway at Beale AFB on 10/10/1968. He was getting a haircut (I know weird thing to remember) and saw the plane come in through the window. The brakes failed then when it hit the grass the gear folded and it slid on its belly for a distance. Once assessed it was decided the composite panels and potential damage to the titanium frame was too expensive so they brought in machines and just buried it in place. The rest of the plane is still there but at some point the front was unearthed and brought to this museum for display.

I am Nigerian and married to a beautiful Hungarian. My mother-in-law treats me to amazing dishes like this when my wife and I visit over the summer and winter from the UK 🇬🇧. Her kitchen looks exactly like this, with the very same free-standing cooker. Very familiar. We pick the vegetables straight from the garden like this thanks to my father-in-law, who works very hard to plant their vegetables. I love helping him in the garden when I'm over because it would be rude not to, I love to learn from him and give something back for hosting us. I also introduce them to Nigerian dishes like jollof rice, beans and plantain, Nigerian meat pies, egusi soup, and even Japanese because of my years of experience working as a sushi chef. I know right, a Nigerian sushi chef married to a Hungarian woman. Lol I absolutely love Hungarian food and food in general. Currently learning the language and we are expecting our newborn in two months and shall be visiting in October sometime. I am so excited to meet our baby and introduce to Hungarian grandparents. A Magyar ételek nagyon finomak. És nagyon nagyon szép emberek. ❤🙌🏿
