I remember, in the day, they said free trade was inevitable, would benefit all the "ordinary folks"...sure, but loosing your job, cannot afford the overpriced imports...You know, transporters were the biggest winers to profit from the arrangement, then, the government with the tariffs and taxing. Never mind the manufacturing know how that was lost and will be a challenge to ever catch up and reboot.

As the offspring of Filipino parents that believed ' good lies ' about Canada...and being born in Canada... I'm praying extremely that the immigration flow basically dries up...on the reason that Canada.... does not deserve that benefit.
