  Heavy samurai armor, leg plates, boots. All can be bought in Squin It is heavy, reduces attack (which makes leveling it faster) and offers great protection. Can also buy chain shirts 7+ dudes in full heavy samurai gear will slap hungry bandits and make leveling easy, once high enough can basically level off anything

  Have your skeleton carry your sparring cannibal and their hunger will slowly rise since Player made cages decrease hunger of NPC captives below 100. Non-player made cages keep NPC hunger at 100. And if you need cash just sell those other cannibals to slaver bosses in slave trader outposts, 400 cats every time. Also, mod recommendations get "Wandering Squads - Recruits". since Recruits in bars are limited. "Slopeless" so you can build house structures on uneven ground

  I like this idea, but we're running low on squad slots as is. I don't want to have to slaughter our puppies to make room for more humanoids.

  @@more_shifty There is the "256 Squad mod" which makes the 30 squad limit to 256. Only get this if you are confident you can feed them all. My current run has a lot of dead shek cuz of hunger

  For training dex you need cutting dmg. Even if that technique doest train toughness. You can train toughness by getting eaten by cannibals or fogmen. Just be sure to have people nearby to save them and patch en up

  For training , you should put the prisonners in heavy armor and place them on a bed when they're unconscious. Then go to town while they sleep and heal.

  If you can it's best to put the entire squad on Hold when fighting Beak Things and send one person to fight each Beak Thing solo. That's a bit too micro for some people but you'll take a lot less aoe damage. Just a tip take it or leave it.

  I'll give it a shot. Considering only one person can attack it at once (for whatever reason), that's probably the way to go. Take no splash damage, and you're gonna have similar DPS.

  T6he story behind that character, I do a lot of training with beak things she was one of the few people to keep fighting for 4 days straight in game sometimes by herself with 3 bonedogs and 2 bulls as the rest were out of commission, the sheer amount of tension as she stood her ground while waiting for the rest of the team to heal up enough to get out of Gut.

  If you ever have a free character would love to see one of my stalwarts appear, Abuela Scorchlander female, tanker mercenary plate, armor face plate, samurai plate legs, sandals and any type of saber though the foreign saber would be plus and shirt chainmail.

  As in making my own mods? I've done so before, and will probably do it again some day. It's not high on my priority list though. As far as adding mods that others have made, that will most likely happen during this playthrough. I'm keeping it minimal for now, but eventually I'll add things that sound balanced and interesting, or maybe improve quality of life.

  @@more_shifty I recommend the mods "More Combat Stance MIABC+" and "Idle Stands" for character aesthetic. "Interior Plus" and "Little Garden" for base aesthetic. Also get "Grave Stone" and "BURY THE DEAD" for dead characters. (Sidenote : Some structures in Little Garden are free to build, not really cheaty but can be exploited)

  You got yourself a subscriber, this video reminds me when I made a mistake while taking on Catalon, lost 3 full squads of leveled fights and medics (I placed my medic camp badly and they got ambushed by a big squad of skeletons while I was busy managing the catalon team. Rebuilt from my skelly cook and 2 skelly farmers....now that was an adventure.

  At this point I'm going to stop watching your videos seeing as you showcase a bunch of cool stuff but I can't for the life of me find it because I'm on Xbox and most of this crap is not on mod IO! What a waste of time I spent 3 hours searching up various things you've showcased and not one of them is available on Xbox! maybe you should start putting a damn disclaimer on your videos 😠 I was going to subscribe at one point but you know what I've decided against it. Fucking PC only bullshit...

  I link all walkthrough builds in the video descriptions. For "Review my Build" I may not have direct links, but I have the creation and creator named. I always encourage and accept entries from both Mod.io and Steam. It turns out though that the vast majority of SE players are on PC and post their content to Stream (as it's been around on those platforms for over a decade), and very few want to upload their work to Mod.io. It's not that people don't want to share with you, it's just too much of a hassle for them to publish to an additional workshop (one which they never use), and on top of that agree to the mod.io ToS which feels like (and arguably is) signing away ownership of their creations. My walkthrough and review videos are for inspiration. If you think your time is better spent on other things, then by all means I hope you find what you're looking for.

  Try hiring Tech hunter mercs, they might stay patrolling but not defending you after their contract ends, it helps defending from cannibals. Regular mercs just leave going to the nearest bar. Also Tech hunters buy from your shop counters.

  @@more_shifty Any weapons the Shek is good with is a good one, I think you felt like going blunt to beat some robots xD so maybe a Jitte or Plank. I really like the asthetics of samurai clothpants with crab chestpiece and headgear but Crab armor is harder to obtain the recipe or actual armor. So anything would be good!

  Man do I wish small grid blocks costed less pcu so they were more viable in official. My group on NA1 decided to do a unique playthrough. Starting on pertam making it the hardest to fly we made the rule that large grids HAD to be rovers. And only small grid flying vehicles. With the eventual goal of transporting our massive faction rover to space using small grid ships. We drove around the entire globe while mining and everything as we went. It was probably the most fun I've had in SE. Really cool to be based on a moving large vehicle with tons of ships flowing in and out, upgrading the rover as we went. Crane arm moving ships on the landing area and hangars. All while traversing the dangerous pertam landscape in a 200000 pcu rover. We had to build a bridge across a 2km chasm to complete our trip

  @more_shifty well at least 4 of the group at that time had alternate accounts to dump pcu on. That group is for NA 1 official so pcu limits are always an obstacle. That was 2 years ago but I've more recently gotten an alternate myself. Makes playing official alot more fun as you can keep you infrastructure on one account then use the other to build fun ships and go wild. You could write a history book with what's happened on NA1. That little small grid excursion we did was on NA10 just so it was a fresh start where none of us had any preexisting stuff.
