For training , you should put the prisonners in heavy armor and place them on a bed when they're unconscious. Then go to town while they sleep and heal.

Thanks, I really enjoy the town building aspect of the game, but I know it can be a bit slow for a lot of people.

For training dex you need cutting dmg. Even if that technique doest train toughness. You can train toughness by getting eaten by cannibals or fogmen. Just be sure to have people nearby to save them and patch en up
