New to the channel is my 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T completely stock. Stick around as I start from scratch on a basic N/A bolt on build on this car. As well as useful info on how they will be installed ups and downs and prices and HP gains from each upgrade. As well as ride along in Mexico.

I have a 64 impala and I have this same thing where the driveshaft won’t go in
Does anybody know what the harness behind the stereo connecting to nothing is it’s at the very bottom kinda where the cig lighter is
Mine started popping and turning the volume off pop check the amp now
How much HP gain can you expect
the intake temperature rises when parked because of all the heat soaking in the engine bay once air is not running across it like when youre driving.
Dodge is a pile of shit. Ive had 12 of these chargers this 12th 1 is my last 1. Im sick of working on them every other month.
Found your video when researching my issues, its May 11 2024. Thanks for making the video and including the update in the comments.
you ever figure it out Im having the same issue
@@kevintaylor3365 I found my problem in the shifter linkage, my truck came with an auto three speed and had to be retrofitted.
Did your engine come on ?
I'm currently having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. Volume cuts off and on every 3 seconds. Radio shop i went to "assured me" that it was the amp. Now I'm sitting here watching you questioning if i should spend my time trying to buy a used factory amp. Smh
Funny, until recently I hadn't realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's a relief! Although what he previously suggested was pretty good, it was a real pain to follow... I just go'ogled the latest in Mario's Thunderous Erections, it's so much easier and potent now!
Something is clunking on mine i cant quite figure it out. My alignment spent 6 hours trying to figure it out and still nothing
It may be one of your tension strut arms causing the clunk.
@@RedOne410 it was my sway bar link bushing.
Did you have any issues with the 12 little bolts ? One of mines broke when installing
Not so far . I honestly don't like that design especially having to use the hex head crap. I've had those on for 2 years and so far there holding up. You can buy spare boots and the special ball joints off godspeeds website just so you know
@@tobroke2007oh really ? I can’t find it on their website
How did these last. Do you like them?
Still running them. I still like them
I have a 350 small block with an USA four barrel Elderbrook carburetor with a 700 R4 transmission. I’m putting a stage two kit in it. Mine is doing the exact same thing yours is doing right now.
Hey Guy, I have a 1990 GMC sierra I’m getting ready to tear the transmission completely apart and rebuild the whole thing. I’ve got a couple of technician videos where are you located?
What about a 83 caprice. Would i still need a 9 inch tail for that ? I just bought a tail shaft adapter for the th350
Did you straight pipe or mid muffler?
Super 10 series flowmaster with res delete
I’m a year late but are the lower arms needed ?
If you have camber problems maybe depends on how bad it's off.
What's the purpose of installing that assembly
So the camber and caster can be adjusted after adding lowering springs.
Im having the problem of after replacing the calipers & bleeding the hub is locked up, like its not releasing pressure on both front braks
How often you recommend changing spark plugs
Governor 👍
i think thats the problem with mines i youtubed it i have 85 box caprice with 700R4 trans it goes in reverse but slips after 1st gear wont upshift
You mentioned turning the radio off with the steering wheel controls, I just replaced my 2014's factory radio with an rpa-ch11 installed and on my dash it says radio off and have no sound(factory amp also installed). Which button would I hit to turn the factory radio on or off, would like to see if that solves my issue, thanks.
If you're antenna wire came out or off during the installed the volume want work or didn't on mine.
@@tobroke2007 thanks for the reply, i was able to get it to work the other day.
Did you ever fix the remote start issue?
I have an 89 c1500 extended cab and did this swap. Had to get the 9" tail and modify my crossmember for the mount to have something to hold. The 2 piece driveshaft saved me from having to get a custom driveshaft. My homemade crossmember mount makes the pan leak easy but aside from that everything has held up fine.
So, you didnt "fix" it, you "replaced" it. This video should be called "radio replacement".
That's why the video is called update watch the other videos and you will understand it better
my bushings fell out of place on my challenger at only 13xxx miles!! i’m going to the dealership to get it fixed as i still have the full factory warranty
I have a 700R it will not come out of first gear it was riding fine then.. I took it to one of my partners to look at it he said my governor was leaking drove it home the next day it started not coming out of first
Sweet ride
Now if only we could get the computer to keep the revs above 4200 after trying this lol. Thanks for the video man I have a 2013 sxt and it revs to 4100 rpms max but I tried your trick just out of curiosity and it worked lol 😅 and yes it’s fine nothings wrong with it haha
Try lower steering intermediate shaft . GM trucks had this same issue
I have a 700 R 4 that doesn't want to shift Cold but works when it warms up ? I just pulled it out to rebuild it. I'm looking for ideas for causes to make sure that I don't miss the problem while I'm in there ? Cool it revs Way up around 3500 rpm and just about snaps my neck from first to second. 89 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 . The TV cable doesn't seem to do anything.
I have a 2013 charger. Trying to find front end clunking as well. Did new struts. Helped a little bit still chunks. Especially it ita cold. What you find
What is the purpose of this video?
There’s nothing in that exact spot on mines it’s a sxt 2016 are they supposed to come with them?
I'm dealing with the same issue except it's both rear calipers locked up
I have the same transmission in my little less 15 GMC when it comes to the detent cable it’s a must absolute must I would suggest replacing the detent cable and here’s why the D10 cable controls the shifting of your transmission if it is kinked, broken or otherwise not geometrically straight to the throttle body or carburetor it will not work correctly adjusting them is pretty basic. Once you’ve hooked both ends up, you press in the lock tab on the detect cable pull the throttle all the way open and let go of the lock then let go of the throttle , they should automatically set your pressure on your transmission. Good luck. Hope it works for you. It worked for me.
It really does work
So, I have a 6 speaker system Ina 2014 challenger, and I have been trying to figure out from research if it is amplified or not. I can't find info. So I guess the only way I will truely know is if I pull the panel off and see for myself. Lol
I'm 68 , I let no one touch my 1979 g10 van Chevy shorty carburetored🧐 Enstien.
Hope you found it but those sway bar bushings are definitely worn put need to be replaced and lubricated.
Yes sir replaced those with poly one's also got full front and rear godspeed goodies as well you should check those videos out as well when you have time
Is it really making a difference in power?
Yes it does if you have time look up some of my other videos where I do 0-60 times or 1/8 mile test with no tune vs tune. Another great upgrade would be a peddle commander watch those detailed videos as well.
To much of the tail shaft is stick out. When you put the drive shaft all the way into the tranny it should only be out 1" after it's seaded in when in put it in to the rear end
I bought a kit that makes the tail shaft longer and that included a spacer at a longer output shaft
Can you include a link ?
What about coil overs?
?so its not a fix its a whole new ass radio?? Yeah no shit its gonna work
Need help anyone!! Car won’t shift 81 cutlass 400 trans. Had transmission rebuilt and changed vacuum lines. Still no difference..??
S-o the stabilizer end links was the fix?
at the time yes
Are these holding up good? I need to add Fromt camber for better tire wear. Reviews say these break a year in .. idk tho
Yes but I've spent lots on finding a shop that can adjust them correctly! All shops wonna adjust while there isn't a load on the suspension. Not to mention they try to use the factory alignment setting for my vehicle which will not work. You will need a shop that does performance stuff or you will get boned!
@@tobroke2007 is your car lowered ?
@@ballermask9085 yes
My car isnt lowered tho so they went with factory specs
Had mine on for almost 3 years and no issues so far
Absolutely of most importance if don't want to burn your transmission, if it's not already fried the band
Ya it was burned up when I finally got the engine back running. Had to buy a cheap 350T to get it back on the road
