I've watched A LOT of videos recently to understand how to make the cuts in the stiles for the louvers. This is by far the best one! Much simpler looking jig than most I've seen and the most ingenious part is that the jig allows you to make the cuts mirroring each other so they always line up. So many videos and my own trial and error has 1/32" off and it throws each cut off, so by the time you get to the end, everything is noticeably not aligned. Thank you for sharing! I had one question: what is between the two stiles? It's the gray-ish piece between the two pieces of wood you're cutting. It appears pre-cut. Can you describe what it is and it's purpose? Thank you again!

Hi Anna. Thank you for your comment. the piece in between is a MDF strip with the thiknes of the router bit i was using. 12 mm to be more precise. That alow the transition of the angle without demage the outher piece. I made a lote of louvers with this process and went so well. Now i use a CNC router for that propose.

Good idea but bad realization and bad handling of the tool. 1 You must secure the workpiece before any intervention 2 You must install the accessory handle with a rubber protection between the machine and the clamp to prevent possible slipping and also to protect the machine. You shouldn't be showing this kind of insecure practice, it's a bad example of accomplishment. Have a nice day and best regards.

ty for your coment :) i did an upgrade of it. it was verry small handle although strong. No worries, the main idea is what really maters. It was a grat improvment of my machine. works every day without any issue.

please don't use your hand as a clamp! if that block slips you have a chance of it chewing into your fingers. Please find an actual clamp or stop and use that.
