    I had both and I can say the gtr is so much better overall when it come to comfort and speed , its not even close the only downside is that it cost 700$ more than the Gt other than that if you have the money, dont even ask yourself between the two , my buddy have a gt pro and since he have try my Gtr he's trying to sell his gt for the gtr so it is what it is .

    Did you ever do the 1000mile review? I just bought this scooter and it’s pretty awesome. I already crashed on it and then I hit a pretty good size pothole which cracked the rear rim. Had to replace the whole motor. I think you need to be careful on the type of roads you are riding on for sure, especially with the PMT fire tires. But man this scooter can move!

  • @TheRealElectricOutdoors
    @TheRealElectricOutdoors2 ай бұрын

    I didn’t. I sold it with I think like 1200 on it or 1400 or so? It really ran great though the entire time besides the things mentioned in the video. I also know there are different iterations of this scooter that were released over time, if you purchased yours in the last 8 months the quality of the controllers and the motors have dropped substantially. It’s kind of sad honestly. Regarding pmt tires, I now ride a wolf king gt almost everyday and have about 3500 miles on it, uhhhh truly honestly- I don’t think pmt tires are worth it for everybody. Especially with the reduced range at proper psi on any scooter. However if you really ride these things and do things like cornering at 40+ and just overall really use the machine- they are absolutely worth it. They also last much much longer than the standard tires. (In the case of my wkgt anyway, I never used pmts on my vsett) I hope this helps man. Feel free to ask me any other questions. PS- even though the quality may be reduced in motors and controllers recently on the vsett10+, cracking the motor from a pot hole could have only been avoided (POSSIBLY) by having very low psi in your tires. I have hit a 2 foot hole and did a 50mph wheelie over it on my WKGT and it absolutely demolished the rear axel threads of the scooter- which are locked and irreplaceable inside of the rear motor. My father and I decided to die tap the axel to a smaller nut and use a better quality lug on it. Been holding up great. But yeah, accidents like that can and will happen. Keep up with maintenance and wear your helmet and have fun man :) thanks for the comment.

    Can absolutely assure you that ZOOM single piston hydraulic brakes, (including the calipers, lines, and levers) Are trash. Especially for something going this fast. Even when properly bled with fresh, very expensive pads. Scooters like these need to rely less on electronic braking and use dual piston brakes. Thanks for the view and comment ride safe!

    I will get a 25Ah model, because of the LG cells. 2nd hand there was only another option with the "chinese" 20,8Ah battery and just 100€ cheaper. The seller has upgraded many parts with better ones, adjustable steering damper, a few parts even custom machined and he did a nice "conversion" from Vsett+ design, which is very loud screaming to cops "illegal" in our area to a nearly perfect replica of a "IOHAWK" model which are typically 25km/h and legal. its basically just side panels/logo carriers and the frame-model they are based on is the same. Like this its a wolf in a sheep fell we would say in austria/german, haha! Im only driving so far a cheap 2nd hand scooter with (going bad) 48V 10Ah battery and 1000W single motor (40-49 km/h). I miss a lot torque for hillclimbing and little offroad parts, the (partially damaged...) suspension works at best ok for the road and is super annoying offroad or at bad roads, and after nearly 10k km on it, this scooter is "done", especially with the abusing i did and the very weak going battery. Bearings are going bad, the whole suspension mechanism front and back feels bad, squeak a lot, wobble a bit already etc, so this scooter is just done! 300€ i would have to pay for a 14Ah replacement battery and the scooter is "too much used/abused" already to be somehow reasonable to pay for a new battery. Would need like 100-200€ for new suspension, 50-100€ for new bearings, a new motor (100-200€ as well?!) would be also great since it lost noticeable power/torque after many continous full throttle rides. All in all, a proper repair and battery replacement would be about the price of a newer, better scooter. At least from those nearly 10k km on it i was driving like 8k km on it (within a year!), meanwhile the seller drove like 2k km within 3 years.

    Good review but ….. Advice: when your on a ecooter or ebike, obey all the traffic laws. In things video I see all kinds of traffic laws being broken. This is going to lead to very restrictive legislation from law makers towards the e-scooter and e-bike community. Don’t do what the person in this video is doing, obey the rules. This is going to ruin it for everyone. 1. E-scooters do not belong in the car lanes, 2. Red light violations don’t just apply if you’re inside a car.

    Kaabo screwed up by not redesigning the rear end of the GTR to accommodate the hydraulic shock without making it ridiculously tall. Sure the longer travel in the front is nice, but almost nobody needs 10.5 inches of ground clearance on their scooter, it just makes the center of gravity higher so you can’t corner as well while street riding.

  • @TheRealElectricOutdoors

    If you ride it like I do, as in beating the shit out of it all the time and going fast everywhere essentially, You need to constantly be checking tire pressure, keeping up with the brakes to be able to stop properly, making sure the stem is greased, making sure there is hydraulic fork oil in your shocks, making sure the brake lines don’t leak and are always bled properly. Making sure all of the bolts are tight after hard rides, properly taking care of the battery with charging habits, and I mean if you do all that fairly often it will ride new all of the time :) it’s a wonderful scooter but it’s Chinese crap in the end to be honest and it will fall apart if given the chance. Don’t give it an inch it will take a mile lol. Good luck!!! Thanks for watching

  • @TheRealElectricOutdoors
    @TheRealElectricOutdoors8 ай бұрын

    I don’t think it’s crazier, I think the battery was full bro haha! They pickup literally about the same if you’re not burning rubber with your wkgtp. Takes throttle control with 50a in the front off the line. I disagree it’s way stronger than your wkgt. If anything the display might show it’s going better but it’s not even calibrated correctly to the 12” tires. I DO NOT think this scooter is faster than the wkgtp to 50 if you know how to ride it. That traction control just limits you truly. I’d put the whole scooter on it lol. And with all the problems (as I predicted in this video) with the controller, I’m good. And we’re moving on to 84v 70a systems now. The gtr wasn’t an upgrade, all they did was fix the amp jolting in the controller. That’s it. And then it burns out. Haha. Not worth it, not an upgrade, it’s the new version of the wkgtp. That’s all. It’s mediocre at best improvement wise, and yeah it’s slower from the line. Assuming you’re not burning your tires out with your wkgtp.

    Sounds like a pre hard rant and bashing on the GTR I know a lot of people who own the GT Pro and GTR and love both, but I heard the GT pro has a lot of throttle issues throttling when it shouldn’t, theirs always some issues in scooters, doesn’t come with the nice hybrids you’ll have to pick between either off-road or street tires on the pro, as I’m watching listening to ur front wheel spinning and sputtering before it gets going, the traction control feature on the GTR is absolutely incredible. Also saying “it’s 20 pounds more” is really irrelevant when both are massive and huge and hard to take anywheres, but as you mentioned the GTR’s battery is removable which makes transportation a little easier, to me for the small lack of battery I’d feel best going with the GTR 👍🏼 the upgrades are just so worth it. Honestly it sounds like you don’t like the wolf line as a whole which begs the question why you’re even reviewing it? 😂 their great scooters and I’d like to see you find something hybrid that’s better on the market today.

    I just changed over from stock to put cause of a flat. Just put some olive oil on paper towel and wipe around the bead. Old tire slid right off and new tire slid on pretty easily. Then I have a lock on chuck for air compressor and just push on the tire while filling it and put my arms around rim next to tire to slow air from blowing out the bead areas as fast and that’s enough for it to catch and seal the bead. With the olive oil the tire bead slides up rim with ease. I just have a small electric air compressor, nothing too powerful. I did buy a bead blaster but didn’t arrive til later so didn’t really need it. Hope that helps anyone who may have tough time changing tire. I have 3 tire spoons that used too. I think it’s more of a pain just because have the wheels power wire attached still and have to be careful of tire movement and not pulling on that. Scooter upside down the back can rest on swingarm. The front just get a crate to set it on.
