The music man lol just talk about the car
Naaah. It's easier for me to just write than to record my "beautiful angelic voice" take after take lol 🤭😬
Maisto does them so much better. Great video, thank you. You just saved me 260 dollars. 😁
Hello. I don't think Maisto does a 1/18 Chevelle or at least I haven't seen one. Also, PRETTY SURE, Maisto level of detail is lower based on the Maisto's I have. But one thing is clear, I would NEVER EVER pay $260 for an AutoWorld/Ertl unless it is a very limited Ertl Authentics release!
Nice
Thanks! It does look cool.
why film the box ?
It's the whole unboxing experience. Plus some boxes actually have decent information about the model (others are as plain as they can be 🤷🏽) 😊
Many finishing flaws, in addition to not having any working lights in a period technology car, it looks more like a fake replica from China than a licensed original.
It actually did have working lights when new. But indeed, definitely NOT perfect. And at the time I bought it, I think it was like 40 bucks which at that price was great unlike what they go for nowadays. Thanks!
@@DiecastNewb Congratulations on your good work, I have been following how the price of these miniatures has increased as the quality drops, perhaps it is the standard of Chinese work, which is incompatible and costs more than 300 USD
Thank you! And yes, prices are increasing on EVERYTHING but it really irks when quality takes a hit. Thanks!
The plate under the door! Do cuda have them? Never noticed them on a real car......
Do you mean the rocker panel? Yes, they do. They don't look as gaudy lol, but they do have them.
This would match my christine model...nice
Hello. A nice looking model. The sidepipes are a cool feature on this version of the Dodge Viper. Happy enough your model isn't damaged. These days I already pre-orded the upcoming 1:18 GMP 1970 Plymouth Road Runner *Graveyard Carz* (Q2/2024) and I am looking for the 1:18 ACME 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Dodge Fever (Bright Red) (Q3/2024). Best regards Chris
Yeah. I saw a feature that the sidepipes get very hot!! Those should be good ones!! 😲💪
@@DiecastNewb Have nice easter. GMP is in my opinion always a good choice. I really love my 1:18 GMP 1970 Dodge Coronet SuperBee (Go Mango orange) 👍. Today I sold my old ERTL 1969 Camaro Z/28 on EBAY. I sell my old muscle car models (1:18) one by one and buy new and more detailed ones from GMP and ACME. I am not the biggest Ford fan, but I am also interested in the upcoming 1:18 ACME 1965 Shelby GT350 "snake on a plane". Looks really nice. Now I am waiting for pictures of the real model: 1:18 ACME 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T "Dodge fever"
@@chrisflorian4308 I'll probably end up selling my older less detailed models as well... I'm running out of space too! Lol
@@DiecastNewb Me, too. In the next days I sell another old ERTL model. GMP and ACME produce now these days to much amazing 1:18 muscle car models I wanna buy 😀. I already pre-ordered now the 1:18 GMP 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner (Q3/2024) and the 1:18 ACME 1965 Shelby GT350 (Q4/2024). Have you already seen some photos of the upcoming 1:18 ACME 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T "Dodge fever"? Until now I haven't found any real pictures of the model. Maybe I also need to buy this model, too 😂
@@chrisflorian4308 saw the email announcement but I don't think there are any sample pictures around yet
