1969 Chevy Z10 Custom Pickup Truck Review (1/18 scale model car by YCID / Acme)

Welcome to another 1/18 review. It's a bit "rare" that I don't upload muscle car reviews and this is one of those times...
For some reason, apart from muscle cars and Jeeps, I'm really attracted to cool ass older pickup trucks. Along with a Chevy "Fleetside" and a Red Stepside from Auto World, I have some Ford releases from Maisto and Greenlight. Anyway, figured this one would be a cool addition to the collection because I don't have a Highway 61 sample and this is probably the closest to those.

I love the white and orange colour combo. Details like woodgrain and creases in seats are great. Exhaust tips could've been better. A neat truck.

Inherently this truck took well over a year to get made by Acme for me. The truck, matching trailer and Z/10 69 Camaro pace car coupe were all supposed to come at the same time. Trailers arrived first, 3 months later the Camaros and 6 months later the trucks. Also, while this was being built, I requested the dress up pack on the engine (chrome valve covers, aluminum intake, aftermarket round air cleaner) but alas they "missed" that part. Also, this truck was done at the Greenlight factory NOT the Acme factory so given the end result I was thrilled as we all know that Greenlight tends to have many QC issues but these did turn out nice. Yes, I agree the rear end shouldn't be that high, also asked to correct this once I got the sample but they didn't.

Yeah, if this was done by Greenlight, then they did great. Overall, a great looking truck and release! 💪💪
