Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons have sold over 100 million records worldwide. Frankie Valli a not only a pop music icon, but an actor as well having been featured in the iconic television show, THE SOPRANOS, as Rusty, the capo in the Lupertazzi crime family. Valli’s career was the inspiration for the Broadway juggernaut JERSEY BOYS. In 2014, Valli’s life story will once again be featured. This time in the film adaptation of JERSEY BOYS, directed by Academy Award winning director Clint Eastwood. Valli and his longtime partner, Bob Gaudio are serving as Executive Producers. Valli has also signed on for Rob Reiner’s next romantic comedy, And So It Goes, where he will co-star alongside Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton. In the meantime, Frankie Valli continues to tour throughout the U.S. and abroad to packed houses receiving nightly standing ovations from thrilled fans of multiple generations.

What does this song do to a person. I’m 66 and still love this song as if I heard it for the first time. This kind of music hits the soul on a deep level. Timeless. Also this song is in a great movie, The DeerHunter with Robert De Nero. One of the best.

Frankie vali had the choice to do the song or beauty school drop out. Craig maclhalan and Debbie Gibson stage version of grease took elements of the original theatrical version and the movie version update the show revival

Awesome. I recall the days as a teenager living in London in the late 60s and 70s. The sun always shone. Worked in advertising. The music was stunning. Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Who, Four Tops, Supremes and many more. And then Frankie who was different class. But the one thing you should notice is you haven't already, this was LIVE. Vocals Harmonies Instruments etc. Ok plus an orchestra. But you will not see live performances on TV today. Then most bands played live although some didn't because they could not replicate studio takes to live takes. That is what was so good back in the day.
