The almost perfect recreation of the luke vs Vader final fight scene between the witchfinder general and Kelsi’s was such a fitting end of the Vader like character. The story is so cheesy it works perfectly.

I take objection to your mrbeat part of the skit you’re falling into the trap of the Omni cause. Linking transgender issues with every other issue not to mention slavery. It’s left wing conspiracy brained which is subtler to notice than right wing conspiracy brain. Maybe it was unintentional but having a Nazi talk about issues specific to the modern day looks like you’re painting everyone on the right as Nazis. There are some there for sure and I’m alarmed that it appears to be growing. However moderates on the right are often left out to dry by institutions, media, and the opposition. Democrats most recently funded several conspiracy brained right wingers in the 2022 midterms. If they were such a threat then why do the left’s actions betray their words. Wouldn’t the left want the right to be more moderate? Or does the left just want to win? Winning is important of course, it’s the most important thing in politics, if you don’t win you don’t get to implement your policies. However some ways of winning help you in the short term but at the expense of the country in the long term. Sometimes voters will pick the bad option you helped create. All that is assuming you’re blanketing the right with the Nazi epithet. I’m a northerner who believes in civil rights and am glad the south and slavery was crushed. The south seceded because of slavery and I have no problem saying it. I’m not leaning right because I hate a group of people, I’m from a very blue area where all the local officials are blue and they’re running things poorly in my opinion. Blue people around me are cruel if I reveal too much of a disagreement. I’m an independent so I’m not that radical. I moved from progressive in my very young days to libertarian to now something else that I don’t know what to call it. Maybe classical liberal? I see a realpolitik reason for a select few interventions and have broken with the libertarians on Ukraine. I also believe in some government whereas more and more libertarians I meet in real life seem to just be anarchists. I believe in free markets. But I’m very against “woke” which I define as race based communism. I’m polish, hearing stories about how the Soviets treated my family, reading about it, watching videos about it, and then looking at the leftist activist class, the two are indistinguishable in my eyes. Woke is the modern word for whatever you’d call the collection of ideas of: intersectionality, critical theory, critical race theory, identity politics, social justice, DEI, the Frankfurt school, cultural marxism (this is not an antisemetic conspiracy theory) all shifting labels the modern day communists use to make themselves and their ideas appear more palatable to left wing voters. The civil rights movement is a fundamentally liberal (lower case L and in a classical sense) Christian movement which is why it succeeded. MLK’s vision is good. It is the truth. Malcolm X’s vision will not work and will inspire a backlash far worse than what MLK’s vision did. And in fact as time went on Americans agreed with MLK’s vision until the early 2010s when a critical mass of Marxist trained college students graduated and entered society.

The idea of aliens intervening hundreds of years too late to help the CSA because they lived roughly 300 light years away from earth and could only observe the planet based on photons from 1862 finally reaching them is a hilarious idea for a science fiction comedy. If I had the money and means I’d make this a movie

This guy who makes these videos is a communist. He does not understand the dangers of centralized power. Without the states, your liberty is in danger. If the central government becomes corrupt how do you protect yourself from that oppressive power. Your states have to interpose on your behalf. He over simplifies history. The north was the good guys and the south was evil. The north was complicit in slavery. They were the shippers and the financiers of slavery. Even Lincoln adnitted this. This guy is manipulating history to project moral superioity of the north but there are no primary documents to support this.

John Brown may have been a terrorist, but this is the one of very very very few times where it was necessary to forward change. Thinking of John Brown I am reminded of the quote, "he has waged cruel war against human nature itself, violating it's most sacred rights of life & liberty in the persons of a distant people who never offended him, captivating & carrying them into slavery in another hemisphere, or to incur miserable death in their transportation thither" (yes I did copy and paste that in here to make sure I got the quote correct). My point though is that, war was started in 1619 when the first slave was brought here against his will and tainted this beautiful land for almost 250 years, but it took one man to start the change this country needed to bring the original glory that the founders originally set out to do, and that was to create a country for all men to be made equal in the eyes of the law and to make sure that they all were given the rights afforded to them bestowed by their Creator. John Brown may have been a terrorist in the eyes of the law and most certainly (at least to myself) was a zealot. But he was right.

I think saying "white northerners were deeply white supremacist" is deeply unfair, and kinda racist attack, because it shines the spotlight on this attitude as if it were unique to them, and no one else. The Ottoman Turks thought they were racially and religiously superior, Arab muslims thought they were superior (in Islam, muslims are superior to everyone else), the Chinese and Japanese thought they were racially and culturally superior to everyone else, just about everyone thought they were better than everyone else on some level because humans are a tribal and territorial species. While pointing out most people would've been at least a tad racist, particularly compared to today, is pretty accurate, ascribing the term 'deeply white supremacist' to a group of people who went to war and died by the hundreds of thousands to free the slaves, is pretty unfair and applying political and philosophical terms to people who don't deserve it and paid heavily to fulfil abolition.
