Versus is happening we know this horde is questionable. While yes it’s a mainline game and not a spin-off so as gears judgement which the entire community content creators included just ignore. The reason I bring that up is because yes it’ll have new content, how big should we realistically expect this game to be. They’ve already confirmed they’re still doing gears 6 so why not wait for the big Stuff in that game? E day is obviously just nostalgia bait to gain trust of the community, Which it’s great but that does mean this game should have lower expectations

In Gears 5 I have one of the cleanest executions as Paduk. The boltok "cold blooded" execution but as I walked up to the grub he quoted "who's the daddy now huh?" But because I was so close to him I said it mid execution. Very badass moment not cannon to the story but made me love Paduk even more

I remember when I was like idk 5 years old or something idk but I would play dizzy on the snow map and just kept shooting people with the lancer and when the snow came down, dizzy would flinch and his hat would fly off and magically my lancer is golden

-Slav (or some in-universe equivalent) -On your side personally yet still holds grudges against the people/institution you fight for -Place they're from has a culture based on war -heavy accent -ultra patriotic for wherever they're from -Has to make some big decision on whether or not they help you or help their homeland. The most generic enemy-to-ally trope imaginable, but still pretty cool.

An Escort mode like in Xdefiant would be awesome. COG try to destroy a Hive while Locust defends. Locust try to destroy Hammer of Dawn Satellite while COG defend. Checkpoints throughout the map when you advance to a new area. It's two rounds and each are timed. You have to beat the best time score of opposing team or lose. If you don't understand the concept play a match of Escort on Xdefiant or watch on KZread.

Anyone who thinks it’s possible for no horde and multiplayer is delusional. Those modes are massive and give Gears its longevity. Otherwise people will just beat the campaign and then uninstall

I just hope pvp is more like Gears of War Ultimate Edition (1). I went full time pve Horde mode with these insane unfair wall bounce and trick gnasher shots. It’s just unfair and cheap imo

@@49Winchester_ they haven't confirmed nothing yet it's still up in the air. We don't even know when it's coming out. It's so funny everybody thought gear 6 was coming and this right here did a complete 180 going back in time we don't know what we're up against till the day it comes out.

The trailer alone has given me full faith in this game. There is no chance this game isn't going to deliver! They are 100% going to have online multiplayer and horde. It's the main two modes that people play. It would be a disaster if it didn't and kill the longevity of the game. Which they won't do. Keen to see if they add any more depth to MP and if they add a mode like beast or overrun or bring something new to the table

production started in 2021 no? Because that was when they stopped updating gears 5. So saying that it releases in 2025. That would be 4 years of production which means they have all the time in the world for polishing and making this perfect comeback

I would love to make my own horde maps and select which wave gets what enemy. Id love to build a map in the snow and desert. Maybe in the destroyed city. Its just an idea but honestly they need to bring back best mode but make it better where you take over a cog base as the locust

Give me a non complicated levelling horde like Gears of War 3 and 4, and a solid versus experience that is immserive. I don’t want escape or any other mode nothing that isn’t cohesive and I want all my progress to go towards one thing, a solid long term progression track maybe with customisation for my gear and locust.

A possible multi team mode similar to wingman but instead its 3vs3vs3 in the multiplayer would be interesting with announcers for the locust as one team, cog as the other and uir on the other would be a neat addition. Also a infection like mode where players survive against other players who play as the lambant would be awesome! Maybe even for the first time in gears history which they promised but did not keep that promise in gears 5 to make your own multiplayer maps

@@wolvesrevenge866 Thats actually a really genius idea now that i think of it. Like we can have all these different ranks of uir soldiers including Paduk from gears judgement with uir starting weapons like the markza assault rifle and other uir weaponry that we have not seen before.
