Well at the earliest The Coalition Studio would have begun next-generation Gears of War game development in late 2021 to early 2022 as shown & suggested in the video. Rod Fergusson mentioned on the IGN podcast that The Coalition got access to Unreal Engine 5 in early 2020 and it would have taken the studio 18 months to get Gears of War & the studio itself all upgraded & up to speed with utilizing Unreal Engine 5 & all the new engine tools

let's see what is announced in June. in my opinion, they are announcing the collection of the first, and then the teaser of the new part.

I'd just be satisfied with a Gears 1-3 Remaster. Though Gears 6 would be cool too.

If Gears 6 does come out, I really want Sofia Hendrik to come back as a Playable Character in Horde. She was kinda the only thing I liked from Gears Judgement besides Paduk.

Can't wait till summer where we'll see if the remaster collection is real

Fingers crossed this Xbox Games Summer Showcase in June is finally the year of the new Gears of War game announcements!

Kind of crazy cod comes out every two years and gears every 7 years lol

At this point i just want a gears clone that captures the combat of gears 1,2, and 3, with good multiplayer servers and 5v5 execution focus. Literally all I could wish for. Im sick of waiting for gears to come back just to be met with these messy game releases

I really wish they would bring back the Beast mode from gears 3, haha that was mean playing as a centipede and stuff haha

Presumably, the gears 6 events will take place six months after the gears 5 events. The game will presumably start in New Ephyra.

If Gears 6 comes out in 2026 that would mean the time in between 5 & 6 (2019-2026) is nearly as long as the time between 3 & 5 (2011-2019)

Actually insane to think just how much time has passed. I remember being in middle school playing gears 3, late nights before school. Now I’m gonna be playing these games on weekends when I’m not working…I literally graduate from college in May. Idk how time has managed to pass so fast.

That's because the gameplay is a niche community I bought XCOM 1-2 and didn't bother with tactics 🤷🏽‍♂️ It also didn't help with the fact that I just watched a walk through just to see what was going on with the story would have been better as an actual third person shooter and wouldve sold better

Gears is Awesome

I need a gears 2 and 3 remaster before gears 6. They need to make gears 6 good. It's their last chance to have everything at launch so when there's dlc, we can actually call it that.

@brandonpitter492 you see man. I never said it's their last game. I said it's their last chance to have everything at launch. They need to learn from their mistakes. They need to make the game good. They need to make the games like the first 3 games. They need to do better with the gore. Do better with the childish characters. Put more love and soul into it. They can buy themselves more time by giving us a remastered gears 2 and 3.

I wasn’t a fan of the Ultimate Edition, they watered it down when it came to the blood and grittiness of the original, couldn’t believe what the world has done to my childhood games.

Yet there is a real update regarding a Coalition Studio developer leak highlighting the progress of Coalition Studio next Gears of War game being in active game development as many dont even believe another Gears of War game is even happening. We dont need The Coalition to make an announcement to find out our own information on what they're working on thanks to the Internet!

In my opinion, in gears 6, the player's actions will have much more serious consequences than in gears 5.

Xbox Please "We want more Halo and Gears of War Campaign games". We've been waiting years nowadays to just play 10 hours of campaign which is totally unfair comparing to other single player games.

I did not like gears 4 story and five was just Booty Juice, I'm a casual fan so I don't read none of the books, and was completely lost and bewildered throughout 4-5. But I'll assume I probably won't like sixes story considering how 4 and 5 went. Best to have no expectations and too high of expectations

Gears 1 Old but gold 3/5 Gears 2 Absolute masterpiece. Great worldbuilding, music, epic all around. Genre defining diamond 5/5 Gears 3 Propably the best game ever. Perfect everything with the right tone and even better gameplay and multiplayer. Peerless 5/5 Gears judgement Kinda ass, ruined tone, ass gameplay, still an okay game 3/5 Gears 4 Abortion of a campaing, bad plot, bad character, lack of detail, bad music, a suprisingly good multiplayer. Ruined tone and lazy in general 3/5 Gears 5 Garbage, but still playable. Too little maps, bad campaing, even worse tone than 4 somehow, bad music, all the emotes etc making it basically fortnite. Awful 2/5

Lol i spent over 3k on xb1, hardware and software from launch til ps4pro. They completely failed. The X360 is the greatest console known to man. How do fail its successor. Safe to say after the ps4 pro i never went back. Gears was its only bright spot. And look at how they have you guys. 3 years into nxt gen and you guys don’t even have a sniff of shet 😂.
