  I got a flute with the labels, Crusader Galway, JC31O0018, Made in USA (on the headjoint), and Made in China (on the body). Could you please help us identify the model? Its head joint sounded ringing, yet I was not certain yet. I wanted to know the materials of the headjoint and body, and whether it has a B foot.

  When the 50 dollar amazon flute came with a grease stick so you lightly greased the head joint already before finding this 😬😬😬😬

  That was kind of a useless milquetoast review. You played the flute, but you didn't comment very much on how it played except to say that the higher notes were easy. But what about intonation? I heard some intonation issues in there. It also seemed as though the lower notes didn't want to speak on it until an adjustment was made, but you didn't speak about that. You didn't comment at all on the action of the flute, did you have to press down harder on certain keys, or was the action smooth? Are you afraid to say anything bad because they sent you a free flute? You are doing people a disservice by not talking about what the flute does well and not-so-well. Would you recommend that if someone buys such a flute to take it to a repair shop to have it tweaked a little? You left us hanging with this review.

  I have been playing for more than 5 years now and I have played almost all of the grade 5-7 pieces. However, I am in a small music association, it’s not the same as a music school so I don’t have this ABRSM thing unfortunately (or maybe fortunately)

  Another song to add to my playlist! Another song to listen to when I feel a bit discouraged when studying this wonderful instrument... Maybe it's because you never forget your first love, but for me Amelie's flute has the most beautiful sound of all and listening to her encourages me to overcome difficulties and keep trying! ❤ Grazie Amelie

  As most people in the comment section I can hear big difference only between the 300$ flute and the rest, I can’t really distinguish between the higher-end ones😂 I used to be a professional flute player in primary and middle school, but then I dropped. Right now being in university I’m starting to pick it up again. I’d consider getting the 700$ Yamaha in a year or two, that’s for sure 😆

  I just bought my niece a $30 flute because she Said she wants to play next school year. She's 10. This one is pink. It's metal not plastic but I think it's sprayed pink. But I wanted to look up like if it's sufficient for her.

  im considering buying a flute, and i saw one online where it has the option “16 holes closed” and “17 holes open”, can I ask what’s the difference? And what is better for beginners? My only instrument is bass😅
