This is what I do. Twist the front only and put the ends in a band. Easy peasy.

I love the braid out look but I just pull my hair back in a (loose) ponytail and just braid or twist the ends. I can't with the roots.

I hve seborrheic dermatitis so I kno. You are so correct. At my age I cannot take any additional stress so I cut off all my locs and also all my hair. And what a relief no more breakouts, alhamdulillah

Hello my dear I suffered with seborrheic dermatitis fr year until I started using my own diy herbal treatment let me b very honest with u I had that scalp condition for yearssss and suffered alot its is also call cradle cap in babies!! Ok here goes I started blending a small piece of onion(white),1 clove of garlic,a small piece of ginger,1 leaf of aloe, and 2 stems of rosemary I blended all of this together after in which I strained it out in a piece of cheese cloth put the liquid in a nozzle top applicator bottle and cover my entire scalp with the mixture I usually leaves it on fr about 5 hours and after wash it out with any shampoo of my choice and let me tell u my seborrheic dermatitis is all gone!!! Please I encourage u to try this mixture and u would thank my sooner than later!! I'm from trinidad so I hve several rosemary plant in my garden... Please don't hesitate to try the potion u won't b disappointed.. In times gone by I had to constantly run to the nearest drugs store to stock up on shampoos like keto plus, zinoral, and selsun blue until I decided to try for myself this amazing day herbal treatment... I do hope dat u read my comment and give this a try...

I know the feeling Sis🤦🏾♀️I don't have the scalp issue you have, but after 24+years of Locs I've become quite "tender headed" even when I do a braid out, I can't take more than 3dys 🤦🏾♀️✌🏾💖 Beautiful you Are

I’m only loc’d for 6-years now but that extra tender-headedness rolled in during my first year. When my roots marry & I have to divorce them…omg-the pain. And, braid outs…forget about it. I wonder why this is? 🤔

Greetings. You are my go to for my locs, as you are calm, non chatty and you stay on topic without judgement. Frankly, I'm tired of posers, long intros, lectures on what and what I SHOULD do for my hair, selling products at great expense for the average working (or non working) person and such. Thank you! I also love that your husband so patiently washes your hair.
