I have been a huge Rush fan since I was 13. My first album was 2112 and I learned every note practicing after school. I thought it would be fun to go back to my roots and re learn my favorite Rush albums and produce videos. So after upgrading to Sennheiser mics here we are. I hope you enjoy it. We had a blast making them.

Absolutely killed it great job and can we take a minute to appreciate the engineering. The kit sounds outstanding.
Just found you today. Outstanding work! This is, as other fans have said, the best Neil cover out there. Great talent brother!
Love that nice tight snare Adam amazing performance!
U r amazing, glad I found your channel
Genial
Excellent!!! Awesome!!
Spot on!!
Transcends Amazing. Not NP, but about as close as he can get.
You have Neil's same feel.
Enjoying this song. Really kicks witha demo.
If they audition to get back together you could be the man. Fantastic
You really should get ahold of Alex and Ged, I do believe your channeling the professor, you are amazing, spot on, thank you!!
Fantastic
Yeah this is unparalleled accurate
Wow! Great drumming Adam! That's a very difficult song to play on the drums. Looked like you had fun playing it.
Total master!!
Very good ..very, very good! There is not one other drummer on the planet that has inspired & influenced so many, like the master Neil Peart ; With that in mind it's fair to say that this is a commendable tribute to the genius of the master .. the one & only, 'The Professor' , Neil Peart! 👏👏👍
Hats off to you! Respect, i cant say that much these days with many driven by validation, outer attention, and need there ego fed.
Unreal, album with best drum sound, without a doubt.
Nice job, for sure Moving Pictures so fun to play. I giggled at the feet at 3:15 that appeared suddenly, you had your fan club present !
Wow!!!
Great job, this is an extremely difficult Neil song to emulate, I know. It's drummers like yourself that " RUSH " needs to audition in order to keep the band alive... Great Job !!!
Copy cat lol! Rush needs to have no drum aditions, no one could ever replace neil peart! his presence, energy, drumming, there are many drummers that can play rush well, This guy did a great job.
NAILED IT! 👍🤘
Well done.
Another drum cover.. algorithms are in the chat.. but many i seen.. been playing since 79.. and yes rush is in my blood.. but you are definitely up there. first time seeing you very nice. The other guy is Patrick Fuentes just incredible...
Steriling patrick Fuentes.. but now i swear you guys are related lol look so much the same
Sterling is amazing.
Call Alex and Geddy Lee, and tell them to drop their socks, and grab their cox; it's time to put the band back together!!! 007
lol!!
Bro!!! You fuckin killed it!!! Phuckin spot TF on Bro!!! 007
Sweet AF Bro!!! You make it look easy my man!!! 007
Thanks man!
Dude!!!! You fuckin slayed this!!! Niel would be proud Bro!!! 007
Thanks so much. Glad you liked it.
Thanks man!
One of the things that stand apart in this cover is the backbeat consistency. Peart was meticulous with every note on his tracks, especially the left hand on the snare drum: he served a consistent solid crack of great tone every back beat. You've taken that tradition into your playing. Well done!
Thanks so much for your kind words.
what kind of drum kit is that ??? great stuff
The snare sound is so good!
Nice work!
Downey was better than Bonham!! There..i said it!!!!
He's still going😳🤣
Wow you absolutely nailed that! Any chance of doing Genocide? Another great Lizzy track with great drumming that I’m trying to learn!
Well, the "algorithm" (as people are saying here lol), also threw me your way for the first time tonight. Was heading for the sack and instead listened to the entire Hemispheres album courtesy of your excellent, raw and precise drumming skills. That album came out when i was in HS and i was just learning drums and i could only pretend to play along with any of these tracks but it still has never ceased to thrill every time i hear it. I miss Neil greatly. Great job and thank you.
Thanks so much for your kind words. 2112 was my first album and I practiced every day after school.
WHOO is RIGHT man, HOLY COW! Ive been playing forever could never even come close. GREAT job.
Thanks so much.
@josephmonaco4503 10 minutes ago Adam, When that album came out, I played it for months until I could play and remember every beat like you. I had the same Black Slingerland set that Neil had back in 1976. Anyway, I haven't heard it played so perfectly since back then. You are a great drummer and you kit sounds amazing. Oh, I even ""Viberfized"" all of my drums like Neil did to his Black Slingerland and his Red Tama kit. I want brag about myself, but myself and a friend of mine, used to play these songs like you just did here for over 20 plus years, but, computers weren't around then, and there was no KZread, or internet... What a shame... hehe.. I have watched so many other drummers "TRY" to play Rush, but it takes a very special individual to really master Neil's Touch.. Great Job !!! Joey..
I’m right there with you on the Slingerland kit. I too played in a Rush cover band all through HS. Thanks for your kind words. Rock on!
great job. Dynamics on spot.
Thank you!
Brilliant drum work! I've played bass for 30 years and i cannot stop playing this. I love it!
Thanks so much. Glad you liked it. Fun stuff to cover.
Holy shit! That was perfect!
Thanks so much David.
Now Mr. Johnston, how many times have we told you? ("You know we told you before, but you didn't hear us then, so you still question why, NO!, you didn't listen again! :o) STOP EATING YOUR FRAYED DRUMSTICKS! This is your last warning. Life's a bummer if you're not a drummer. :o) You're questioning why you keep pooping little wooden puppets. You can either stop eating frayed drumsticks, or we're gonna change your name to Gepetto. LMAO! :oP
LOL!
@@adamjohnston2311 :o)
That is not an easy song to cover right great timing and great job Adam !
Thanks Vin! I appreciate it.
