The Ukrainians were wealthy before the Russians came and took everything away. I have only recently found this out. There was always, to me, a singular joyful, yet determined feeling about this music, the updated Christmas lyrics notwithstanding. The biography of the author is an all too familiar story in too many parts of the world. When we all see what we’re blessed with (as the swallow said!) instead of mourning what others have and we don’t, the world will be a better place. Happiest of Holidays!

I put this vid out in 2017. Believe it or not, it spawned a whole project called "Hero of Your Story". I've been working on that for the past 4 years, cleaning up some of the weaker points of this music. There are now 10 compositions and all of those will probably be renamed and released as something more personal to me. We'll see. But, I honestly wish those who thumbs down this vid, if they have something constructive to say, would say it. I"m always open to improving this piece as I think, thematically, it slays. If you have a problem with the execution, I'd love to hear solutions. I'm an amateur at this and want to get better at it. Plus, I eventually want it to be good enuff for some of these "Epic Music" play lists. For those who watched and particularly gave a "like"... My thanks!!
