The Griddle Guys

The Griddle Guys

So we are 3 dudes who own griddles and LOVE EM! We spend a lot of time trying new stuff, perfecting older stuff and generally messing around. Some of the results plain out suck, but many are pretty damned good! After a few (read… few too many) libations one night we came to the conclusion that we should share some of the crap we have learned about griddling! Hence TheGriddleGuys.Com was born!

Hope you enjoy!!

My family loves loose meat sandwiches. Similar concept but uses mustard mixed in and is chopped finer. My daughter hates red sauce so it’s a way for us to make sloppy Joe’s without using sauce.

I know you avoided the hinge area, but I was curious about whether the grease trap support bar caused any issues when the shelf is down. Does this modification interfere with the ability to fold down the side shelf at all?

That is the kind of chicken breast I bought from the store to cook Asian vegetable chicken mix; after cooking, I threw away the chicken part and kept the cooked vegetable because that chicken breast was not edible. I will not buy chicken breast again. The second time this happened to me, now I know what it is called woody breast chicken.

I am planning out my Miami Dolphins tailgate menu’s for the upcoming season, and this just made the list. I love you you can cook it all the day before and just sear the day of. It looks to be pretty much idiot, Proof, and a great thing to make with all the chaos going on. I plan to make much smaller ones than the one and a half pounders that you guys made. I wonder how many euros I can make out of one pan. Probably need to make about 20 of them. do you think it’s two trays or three?

I never thought of butterflying a prime rib roast like that. Honestly, It looked way better than a whole roast because you get more surface area to develop a crust. I like a good slab of prime rib, don't get me wrong...but this looked great.

Pro tip - portion it out after you chop it. If someone doesn’t want a certain ingredient leave it out serve them their portion and then add the rest and rechop and serve.

I made chopped cheese for the first time tonight. It might be my top 2-3 things I've ever made on my griddle. One ingredient that I added that put it over the top was garlic aioli.
