lol, Seeling all the other players mentioned make sense, but Trossard is a big No, there is always more talent, yes, but look at the talents we signed recently, which one of them has performed up to Trossard bar Rice. These things need balance, its not a hard or fast rule

I agree with your analysis. Put Stones, Guehi, Gomez (as right-back), and TAA as an inverted right-back. Let Rice play as the 6 and Bellingham as an advancing 8 (like Xhaka/Havertz have played at Arsenal). Position Foden as the 10 and let him alternate with Bellingham. Forward line: Gordon, Kane, Saka.

I have seen much more talented England managers get fucking castigated by the British media over the years. Our record in the group stages was always shocking til Southgate came along. I agree with you on the tactics side, but I will die on the pro-Southgate hill. England are the spers of international football, and Southgate has de-spersed England, which is something I thought wasn’t possible. Conservative (with a small c!) is what this country needs when it comes to the national team.

I'm an Arsenal fan but I would put Liverpool above Man City especially when it comes to Europe and especially if Man City lose their case.

Good players often need half a season to settle down - Havertz just now, TH14 and DB10 back in the day - so if changes might mean months of adaptation, we should only make them if we're sure they really entail an improvement. Also, young players need time to develop: we mustn't sign someone who'd block Nwaneri. Lastly, we want to buy players like Brighton or Leicester a few years ago before their price skyrocket (Martinelli, Gabriel, Saliba). All this means some calm patience alongside our rightful desire and ambition to be top tier.
