Great tutorial. I hope you will be stull publishing content on that channel
The faces look so lifelike. Bravo. Honestly the box art really inspires me to paint, so it’s awesome to find your channel!
missing your videos
have you stopped uploading or is it all on patreon now?
This is the most insane content around KZread! 🔥🔥🔥 Im a really extreme bad painter, anyway, you are inspiring me to continue. Thanx ❤!
Your brush control is amazing. You make it look easy. Stunning work!
"da 'eavy Metal way", surely?
Can you do more cotys of sigmar painting?
Citys of sigmar
Crazy skills mate, you make it seem so simple even though I know from experience it isn't!! beautifully smooth blends!
May I ask what brushes you use? Cheers
I'm trying to copy this scheme so hard but my brush control is horrible, any tips?
❤ this is real beauty and art man, goood jooob ! Love this :3
Amazing.
Fantastic guide, Such clean brush work and control. The only thing I'd reccomend for this video is maybe listing the paints used in the description? It'd save time when checking the GW paints and converting them to the Two thin Coats equivalent
Looks so easy when the model isnt the size of a thumb
Smím se zeptat co, používáte za štětce že tak parádně drží špičku za každé okolností díky.
Winsor & Newton Series 7 Miniature - Size 1
Nice vid. I bathe in ratling grime
Is NOT Valejo. it is Vallejo = Vajeho. Double LL = J for you J = H for you
What brushes do you use? I just got into the hobby and the ones you showed have such and strong tip! I'm in the highlighting stage for my intercessors right now and um having a hard time keeping it precise and skinny!
I mostly use W&N Series 7 Miniature for precise work and Rosemary & Co Series 33 for glazing/basecoats/everything else
This is an incredible tutorial. Thanks! Any chance you'd do the classic Grey Knight Power Weapons?
Pfffff, i'll try It, but your brush control... Seriusly, 😮, i would like paint almost a miniatule like yours... Its amaizing, thanks for yt It, master
I have that codex!!!! Can’t tell you how many times I read that cover to cover as a kid who couldn’t afford to buy any models (or paint well anyways lol). Nice painting!
Imagine doing all this and then getting sent to legends, or your load out changed 😅
ça reste fou le travail sur un bolter encore bravo et un super exercice que tu nous montres encore bravo infernal
bonjour je viens de voir ta vidéo qui est génial et j'aimerai savoir quel pinceau tu utilise?merci d'avance infernal
so sick
Love watching these painting videos im just way too lazy to move past basecoat, wash, maaaaaybe highlight. Great job man looks bloody amazing 😊
WTF is your brush control?!?!?! insane
Tremendous job. 👌
Hey, Great videos. I have a question about the paints you use. As an eavy metal painter were you locked to using citadel paints as a games workshop employee or could you mix in other brands as you do here? I assume the first but havealways wondered haha.
Thank you. We could use any paints, glues, basing products, brushes etc that we wanted to however for the most part when it came to paints we stuck to Citadel apart from white, black and some metallics which were preferred from other ranges like AK/Vallejo.
@@davidperryman8885 Thanks for the reply. That's actually quite suprising considering it's GW. I thought you'd have been limited to using only their stuff for as much as possible.😁
@@WarpaintStudios Apologies I replied on my other account but yeah that's not really a problem for the box art team but the other painting teams like the youtube/warhammer tv have to use only GW products I believe.
Hello mate. First of all: congrats for your channel and congrats for your skills. Super academic and stimulating for us. I just have some questions for you because I’m restarting more than 20 years ago with the hobby. 1 How do you get the consistency of the colors in the wet pallet for the lighting phase? 2- Do you use glasses for a higher resolution and the details? 3- What brush (size) do you use for the Lightning phase? Thanks a lot for your time and excuse me for bothering you.
8:22 Based on what I see on the model and palet I am guessing you used Gore Grunta Fur instead of Wildwood. Wildwood is pretty desaturated and you were looking for something rich.
What brand of sand does he use for the base?
Dave, I love your work and especially your brush control. Is there a way we could learn from how you hold your brush? You’ve gone over your bracing, but I’d really like to see where the brush is positioned in your hand :)!
Hello! May I ask about that initial step where you brush the mini with Chaos black for a smooth finish. Can thining your black with a little water be fine, or do you use a medium to thin with? Learning the ropes!
Just water is fine, however I recommend using a good quality black paint like AK Black
Great! I’ll pick some up this week at my local hobby store, thank you such a quick response!
Another solid tutorial! btw may I know which gamer grass did you use in this video?
For Viorla some vids say its aggrax earth shade yet some say its gorthor brown. Which is better/ the right one?
This is truly inspirational. Thank you for being so thurough with your techniques and also showing the colors mixed on palette.
hey man, I was wondernig what colours did you use for the lether?
Outstanding work!
You have given me an idea for a paint scheme to mix with another scheme i watched from Duncan Rhodes. Just bought an Airbrush a few weeks ago. So, gonna give it a try.
I love your videos. Your highlighting is really clean and I enjoy being able to see the process. I have a question though. I also use a W&N series 7 size 00 for edge highlighting. I often end up with a tiny little spec of dried paint at the end of the brush. I've tried thinning the paint down a bit more, leaving it a tad thicker, and rinsing the brush and grabbing fresh paint more often, but I still seem to end up with that little clump after only a stroke or two. Any suggestions or tips on how to prevent that from happening? I'm pretty new to the hobby.
Disgustingly crispy
This might be the best painting tutorial on KZread, thank you so much for this!
What is your recipe for the little radio...box..thing with the dial on the Sergeants belt?
Is this done using the old mephiston red? Can't seem to get the same color with the new red, looks desaturated
Will you be revisiting orc skin by doing the new old world models? I'd be really excited to see that
How achievable is this paint scheme for a beginner?
Love it, will Vallejo grey, Vallejo white or Grey Seer work in a pinch? Thanks in advance.
