Livestream schedule: 14:30 UK time Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri. (14:30 UTC Winter/13:30 UTC Summer). Sometimes other days too so turn on those notifications ;)

Join me for live playthroughs of a variety of the best new and old games. I try to make games fun and entertaining to watch and am happy to answer any questions you might have on the game while I'm playing it. Our chat is a friendly and positive place to hang out.

My favourite types of games:
RPG's with absorbing stories and large open worlds that respond to the players actions. Eg: Witcher 3 or Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
Military history/strategy games.
Anything Co-op.
Anything with humour!

Outside of KZread I fix PC's for a living, have a family and was a past member of the Great Britain & England archery teams.

    Theresas portion of the dlc for me was strong. I did it last mainly because originally i didnt liike the idea of a flashback and play as theresa. We all know how henrys story ends in kcd so before you end the game as Henry, getting closure on what actually happened in skalitz was enriching. No one was really willing to give their detailed explanation of how things played out so this fleshed out the entire story of kcd. Giving way to realism which this game boasts, it simply doesnt make sense if theresa took up melee on hungarian soldiers. The story was compelling in sorrow. The unlocked date location after completing the dlc was moving too. I wont spoil it but it allows theresa to finally heal after the tragedy she went through

    This game is made by a different and smaller studio, this game also have to use a lot of asset from Valhalla so and they have limited budget to make this game. But from what i know, the studio that made this game actually wants to appeal to old assasin's creed fans instead of casual fans so that probably people that is a big fan of this series will actually like it a lot more than the prebious 2 releases. The budget also affected the game, if they got more budget to work with, than maybe we will get a good asassins's creed game.

    This playthrough seems to be going a lot better, a couple of things. The houses closet to the market need to be grade 3 as they require the most amenities. It makes little sense, having grade 1 houses right on the market square, as you said in Richmond. Secondly, the packhorse is a barter system. Goods go both ways. So don't duplicate too many industries, as you won't have things to barter. So Richmond could be the armoury, with wood and iron going in, etc. Catterick farming so bread and ale and Leyburn could be your mining.

  • @MarkGFL
    @MarkGFLАй бұрын

    I'm wondering if I even need level 3 houses in a region for this game mode if I can manage without the perk unlocks. It seems easier to build a larger population (for the army) by maintaining level 1 and 2 burgage plots.

    I was watching Party Elite's video on top 10 things on Manor Lords. One interesting thing was familes moving in. 75% and over you'll get 2 per month, 50% - 75% 1 family. Another was fight fight fight, which you basically sorted out in this run. Another was to get as many families into the 2 storage buildings as you can. And finally, take people out of seasonal jobs to free up workforce.

    Hey Mark, I've been loving this series. One thing I have noticed that you might want to consider is your issues with creating new fields. When you create a new field and set up crop rotation, you should set the crop you want to be produced in the current calendar year, you should set it to produce in year 2 if you created the field before autumn. That way when the agricultural calendar switches over in october, you havent wasted fertility by plowing fields that will ultimately be abandoned. Hope that makes sense, cant wait to see the restart

  • @MarkGFL
    @MarkGFLАй бұрын

    Hmm it does actually leech away the fertility doesn't it when a crop is planted but never grows. Good point, I'll try to remember that going forward.

    Do end users take directly from the producer? I'm interested as you place your users (clay and tanner) next to their respective source. Or do they use the storage as their supply. Anyway I think you need more than 1 family in storage.

  • @MarkGFL
    @MarkGFLАй бұрын

    Thats a good question and worth a bit of experimenting. If manufacturers (saw pits, tanners etc) get straight from the gatherer then building them close makes sense, but if they go via the storage then having an industrial zone with the storage in the center and manufacturers around it would be more efficient. I think they try to get from the gathering building, as you can apply livestock to the saw pit - suggesting they get it themselves and the storage workers don't bring it. But this might be the case, or it might be different for each building. Worth playing around with.

  • @lymeregis4354
    @lymeregis4354Ай бұрын

    @@MarkGFL Could be. Some of the village names hint at deforestation. Immenreuth means bee clearing, Eichenhau means oak hewing [place]. In the middle ages, large forests were cleared to make room for agriculture. Some place names still remind us of this. In England, for example, places ending with -lea, -leigh or -ley (like Barnsley) indicate a woodland clearing. The German equivalent would be -rode, rauth or -reuth (like Immenreuth).

    I think the problem with finishing the GOT books is that he came out and made a big fuss over the fact that the 2 Daves were the only people to guess Jon Snows lineage and he approved the ending they came up with. Now, either he finishes the books based on the TV, and we all laugh at him. Or he completely ignores the TV.
