Just ordered the basalisk ir pants too dude. Id love to see more vids on this stuff.
Thanks! Mosko makes great gear and are fun folks 💪🤠🔥
Får återkomma i ämnet.
Nice review!
Thanks! 💡🙌
the trip was great. the scenery, the roads are extremely beautiful. you have a good motorbike and its sound is so exciting i love everything in your video.
Thanks DenRide! I really enjoyed this trip. Time to take a ride again 😁👍

I am sure those are great off-road , but what about the road manners , highway , etc ?
The loudest tire i've ever had on road, but handles ok on road, given what type of tire it is.
CONGRATULATION wise and good man !! If GOD will help me I intend to go on tour with me Honda Goldwing 1100 EML with sidecar (1982 built) from Nederlands to Germany to Sweden to Finland (Vaasa) to Sweden to Norway (Cape North) and all the way to south of Norway to Danmark ,Germany an back to Nederlands !!Maybe would be the greatest adventure of me life !

No, this is a smooth bike to ride! Very forgiving 😁👍
How many times this 890 left you on a road?
Never, and my 790 never left me on the road either.
Nice review Mattias 👍🏻. Question has to be, which would you buy, Dunlop Trailmax Raid or Metzeler Karoo 4 as they both seem to be excellent tyres.
Thanks, never tried the Trailmax but i've only heard good about them. Traimax looks like a better travel tire.
ÅH NEJ KUKEN! 😂😂😂
Hehe, inte lätt att vårda språket...
excellent video. but does not show the most challenging bit 😞
Thats true, I got too focused on that part so I forgot the cam... but I threaded a zip the from top (lower TFT mount) down to the ACC 1&2 compartment.
found another way: removed the light and then was a breeze

Das ist sehr, sehr schön, diese Video!!!!! Sehr bewegende Bilder mit Deiner Familie. 😍👍🏼
Thanks 🙌 This was a great day!
Brilliant videos. I will either buy an F900 or the KTM 890 because of these vids. Do you get bears / wolves on your trips? How would it work in Sweden if you had injury / accident, how far are you from support? Many thanks
Thanks! Sweden and Norway are covered to get reasonable quick kelp with heli if needed. Wild life is nothing to worry about, beers and wolfs are shy and avoid people. But moose and wildboars etc. Are leathal to hit on the road at speed. Happy Trails 😁🙌
@@Braapncamp amazing thanks 🙏
Damn car @1:10 They are the same in every country. He/She saw you coming and you had the right of way, but he/she still had to go, and very slowly over that... @20:40 You first filter the eater, then boil it.... *herm*! lol @36:02 I see, on the left, the 4 essential bottles for any "1st aid" kit :D I have two questions: - If money wasn't an objection, would you get another bike, and if yes, which one? - What was that tower at 1:06:00?
You are the first commenting on the car, the video does not really make the situation justice (as always) it was closer than you think. I got grumpy on that one 😂. In the original series of episodes from this trip, with better resolution, there are alot more material I probably cut away 1 hour video at this "long movie", lie explanations and product talk etc. In the mountain water (from a bog) there was some small living creatures in the water. May have been mosquito caterpillars. rather filtered them away than had the cooked 😁. Cheers for the essentials. - I have a 2023 890R today so I went for another one after the 790R. I would like a AJP PR7, loved it when I test rode it, could also imagine an adventured 500 EXC. -That tower is for communication, TV/Radio etc. Happy Trails 💪🤠🔥🍺

is it the same bulbs for both low and high beam?
Yes, so a double set gives Tou both high and low beam.
Smart set up. I like it.
Thanks 🙌 finally I got me a second Gnoblin set. Really like the R10, sits on the bike all the time, great for day packs and other daily tasks as day shopping 😁
All this beautiful mountains, covered with wind turbines for Eu. That would be soooo nice. Germanys green shift ❤. Enjoy when you can. Hope you had a nice trip.
Same thing here, ridges full of wind turbines and more to come...
Oh cool you're also a motorrider! Just got to know you last week through some Trangia cooking videos which I enjoyed! I just purchased two 90s 27 models which I got for a bargain via marketplace. Going to make a nice cooking kit with those. I'm planning to go motorcycle camping so after a lot of research I'm now getting my luggage and gear together. Can't wait until the Trangias get delivered! 😀
Aahh, nice. The Trangias are great for actual cooking. My favourite is the 27 HA or my Trangia Mini which I use mostly on weekend trips. Happy Trails! 💪🤠🔥
Hej 👋 Nice video! Whats the name of the black 17mm adapter in the motion pro tyre iron? Thanks :)
Thanks! These are the adapters from Rolling Mavericks rollingmavericks.com/collections/tools/products/t6-combo-lever-hex-adapters . There are two sizes available, 32 to 17 or 27. Thanks and Happy Trails!
Thanks for a good look at these options.
My pleasure 🙏
Hey Mattias! Tanks a lot for sharing your thougths. And thanks a lot for the really useful tipps on how to get into the hammock. I will give it a try one of these days. Could you please tell me the difference between the draumr 4.0 and the draumr 5.0? I would really appreciate that! Tanks a lot, Paul Oh, by the way: I have the draumr 3.0.
Thanks! Between the 4.0 and 5.0 it's mainly the bugnet funktionalities on how it pass around the ridgeline that has been improved, as well simplified the stretch line that hold se bugnet out of your face.

Why are you doing so difficult with your flintstone, when you have a lighter to lighten upp your stove? OMG! What an adventure!
Because it's not difficult. Just nice and fun to praktice. Happy trails! 💪🤠🔥
Not sure you mentioned if power goes off with the key off in ignition and if it's a fuse protected for this aux only? Sorry if you did. A great work though! 👌 Ride safe 🤘
There are two wire sets in the compartment ACC1 and ACC2, I connected to the one the is controlled by the ignition. The other is always hot. They are fused, but sldo the navigator wires.
I could see that you are using a garmin zumo xt, How do you routed the small box in the wire through the tower. I can't see any other way, either you have to pass the box or you have to pass the charging connector
This was lasrar year but You Are right, I disconnected the Bilkes TFT display in it's lower adjustable mounting point. From there i routed a zip tie or wire down to the DC connector location, fastened the Navigator wire and pulled it up. Trick part of the installation. Should habe shown this ofc but got focused and forgot the cam..
When I look at the website, I see that there is no bag that can be attached to the sides or back. is this true
Looks line BMW will come up with bags, probably some supplier issue. There are knobs on the rear end sides to fasten luggage.
Hello. Nice review. I am waiting for mine on june 6th coming from an africa twin AS 2019, and a ktm 990 adventure before that. I guess we are all looking for the inicorn bike. I am 1,97 cm. How tall are you? Did it feel good for your size? Thank you in advance.
Cool, it's a fun bike! I'm 183 and ir felt really nice, not too high at all. Good ergo.
I’m like a child on christmas eve looking forward to this summer when I will go north to Sweden. And your video is like puting fuel in to the fire….
Haha, thanks! Hope You will have fun. I just came home for the second weekend in a row with awesome adventure riding. The season is on! 💪🤠🔥✊️✊️
Is there a reason you don't carry the tools in the pockets on the side panels? I have multiple bikes so I carry my tools in my backpack, now I'm looking into lightweight tools and this was a good showcase.
I'm just too lazy hor having the tools in the side compartments. I have a tire repair kit there though, great to have one allways on the bike. I also rather bring some trail tools in the back pack. But at a ride last weekend we needed alot of wrenching on some bikes due to misshappenings. I then regret that I did not bring the larger roll strapped on my rear rack.
So, if you forgot the second Trangia burner, how can you compare them? I stopped at 1:15... Aaaand out.
No worries, it was a fun comparison to do anyway. It became gas vs alco and also a comparison in sizes between 27 and 25. Happy trails! 💪🤠🔥
Thank you for your helpful review. I am in the market for a more off-road set to replace the Karoo Streets that came on my Triumph Scrambler 400.
Thanks, these gelt good for travel and adventure. Quiet and grippy on asphalt/gravel.
Enjoyed the video but surprised you choose to ride in such a low gear considering the speed you guys are doing
Thanks, sometimes I just like the quicker enginebreak going on lower gear. A vary on this on different rides/conditions. A fun ride!
Thanks for sharing a family recipe! Looks great!
Thanks, hope you try it 🤌🙏
Hello! Can a 230g gas canister and a trangia gas burner fit inside the kettle?
Nope, the cannister will not fit as far as I know into the opening.
Interesting! Thanks! Good to hear your experience. Sometimes it is difficult to balance light weight tools with quality. That weight saving was impressive 👍😊
Indeed, i'm on a 5 day adv ride right now and I can tell that I should have bought the heavy duty toolkit with everything. 3 tire flats a couple of crashes in the team. No one Hurt though but a lot of wrenching 😂
Which Mosko pants are you wearing and which are your favorite in the boot Mosko pants?
These are the Woodsman Enduro (In the boot). These are great. I have not tried thr Kiger or Surveyor pants. Just looked them and felt the material. It all depends on where you ride and what weather/temerature. The Kiger if in hot climate. Woodsman is perfect for Scandinavia, if You know it will be mostly dry but some rain. The Basilisk Pant if you could expect heavy rain.
@@Braapncamp that's very helpful Mattias. Thank you.
Genius products in no particular order 1 gnoblin by Mosko moto 2 trail stand by rolling mavericks 3 eastbound tyre changing / repair tools
I agree! The Gnoblin is so nice. Have it on my R80, will get the female part for the R10 as well..Would love to try the Eastbount toolkit for the 890R.
How do you compare it with your 890? You had a few passing comments but would like to hear more of a head-to-head comparison. I am considering either this bike or the KTM. My concern with the KTM is its reliability and how it rides on the road. Thank you! Fantastic video.
Never had a the 790R or the 890R to ler me down or missed a single beat. But for sure, BMW habe better warranty policies than KTM if shit happens. There is something specialnwith the KTM. Very purpose built and pure Joy on road/offroad. The 900 Beemer is closing up and are a different animal than the earlier model. A great bike for ADV and it does great on the trails. You need to test them, but both bikes will make You having fun to the fullest for ADV.
Hey, don't forget a few pairs of latex gloves. They are crucial when work with fuel, grease or change the oil. It's terrible to put your fuel-smelling hands into the motorcycle gloves :)
Thats for sure a great tips! 🙏😁👌
A nice presentation Mattias. I never tire of these 'what I carry' videos. What would be good, in my view only of course, is for someone influential (Llel, Tjommi, yourself, Diego...)to buck the trend and come out and say "for goodness sake stop carrying tools for other riders!". Yes, once a shiny set of bits, or a set of sockets, has been bought it is tempting to carry the whole set of gleaming loveliness - such as the Motohansa bit sets there. But there is no way you need the complete set on that KTM! Leave behind the ones that are no use to you and are a dead weight. The reasoning that "they could help someone else out" is flawed - what are the chances of happening upon another rider, on the same route as you, on the same day as you, that needs the very tool that you are carrying in case you meet them...?? It is nice to help out others, but to go down that rabbit hole means carrying a set of front and back inner tubes for them in different sizes from your own (and ignore that you might be tubeless - but you are helping another rider out, remember?), axle nuts wrenches to fit other bikes, spark plugs to fit other bikes, spare nuts and bolts that don't fit your bike but fit others, spare throttle and clutch cables for Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Triumph ADV bikes (you are helping others, remember...??). What would be exciting to watch instead would be how to improvise a rider's own bike specific tools to be used on another bike. For example, I carry a 30mm alloy combination rear axle nut and tyre spoon such as the one you show in the vid. But my front axle nut has been swapped out for a 27mm titanium one. Do I carry a separate 27mm tyre spoon/wrench combination? No, as that would defeat the titanium weight saving conversion. Instead I have a thin 1.5mm wall aluminium insert shaped to slide inside the 30mm wrench. Hey presto! Now I have a 30mm AND 27mm axle nut wrench. I would love to see videos like that. Best wishes Mattias :)
Love Your postat man! Today we had a rider who crashed, and I had left alot of tools ar home. (We are an a ADV Ride very remote for 5 days we needed all the tools I did not bring. Next thing was a flat, several dudes had to come for a "rescue" tube and some tools emeas missing. All in all we had ablast timodat and all was drinking beer afterwards. 🍺🍺🍺 Cheers my friend. I actually regret that I did not bring the large tool set in the roll strapped on the bike. Not even felt on the bike on the single tracks and "rally trails". But I know i will forget some tools next time as well. 👀😂😅
Thank you, this is such a comprehensive and useful video. I have an 890 Adventure, do you have a list of the 890-specific tools you've included in your kit? I've written down as many as I can gather from your audio, though feel I may have missed some. Ride safe, I'm enjoying watching your travels.
Ahh thanks 🙏, I have not made a list unfortunately. Torx up to 45 or 50, 32mm sockets for the front/rear axles. Do not remember the nut size og the front sprocket. 6mm insex for the tank. Oil plugs 14mm irc. .10 and 13mm for chain adjustment. And some more.
