I was curious until later in the video when it became clear this was not a motorcycle adventure...so much gear. The boat life looks great as well, so many options where you are with the lakes. It looks like you are living your best life Mattias - looking forward to the video, cheers!

Thanks my friend, we are back from this adventure. You are right, there is endless of opportunities with the smaller motorboat on trailer. really flet that we were exploring to get thru canal and lake systems. Let's see what i can do with the material. Cheers and all the best/ Mattias

My childhood adventures where in Dalslands kanal, by canoe. Lots of memories! I also did a motorboat trip some years ago, back when we had a sleepover boat.

Awesome so far! Me and my son have paddled before as well. It's beautiful here 👍

Never too ny knives or axes. Never know what you might encounter. Great looking trip. From the water a new perspective. Scout out some new camping sites for motorbikes. Always interesting. Maybe Thomas and Robert can stop by and wave from the shore. Take care Mattias, be safe have fun. You have big tarp or canopy for boat.

For sure I have found nice campspots reachable with bike 👌Tjommi and Rob does their duties too 😁 Fun thing is that i've not used the axe or large knife so far on the trip, due to the fireban. The small SAK does the trick in every moment though, so I agree You can't have too many knives 😂🙌 We have a blast, all the best/Mattias

I think this is great. I'm not a boater but I look forward to you sharing this adventure with us. Its all about the experience and seeing new places.

Nice to see your setup for this trip tjommi 👏🏻 if there is a lot of light bushes or thin branch, the sami knife is better than the axe! I ordered the backcountry 30L after seeing your 40 liter earlier! And damn i use that bag a lot for Small Adventures 👌🏻 hahaha, this time you need to Get some fish 😂gret video 🍻 skål

Good on you, a Pointer for a 4 legged companion. I guess a boat trip is beyond the pet but we look forward to seeing the pup in the motorhome soon.

This will be a wonderful trip! Great gear and I’m looking forward to the new knife in action. People freak out around knives and axes but they are some of our oldest tools and still function well. I’ve been putting together a couple Trangia Storm Cooker systems, thanks to your wonderful videos. Hmmmmm, I’m also riding a KTM 890, I think you might have influenced that as well. 😊 Have a great Summer Adventure! 🚤🏕️🐟🤠 👨‍🍳

Haha, some say i'm an expensive guy to follow... 👀 But great and fun stuff are ...fun and great! I totally agree, a tool is tool. People freak out on the wrong thing, shouldn't focus on the tool but the ones that missuse them. Happy trails my friend and throttle that beast! 💪✊️✊️

Redig kniv! Jag hade nog valt den framför yxan.. brukar oftast föredra en machete eller liknande framför yxan (när jag inte har med egen ved som ska späntas och klyvas). Upplever den som lite mer mångsidig! Men det är ju säkert bara en vanesak..! 😅 Ha en go tur! 🤠☕

Ja, Vi har bara kommit till Håverud än och skall slussa upp om 30 min, vi premiärslussade i Upperud imorse. Blir bubbel på det när vi går i natthamn 😂. Sjukt spännande men så vackert. Något helt annat än diket över sätta (Götakanal). Vacker och vild natur här.

Ha Ha vi har inte bara efternamnet gemensamt. Jag har också vorsteh (fast med "rätt päls" strävhårig). Ett par gränsfors yxor, har även en "huggare" men den har jag aldrig med mig ut. Och triangakök men det har väl alla. På 70talet paddla vi mycket i Dalsland, även några sträcker på dalslandskanal. Bor nu ca 1 mil utanför Dals-ed.

En massa braochhagrejer helt enkelt 😁👍, kul att du kikade in. Vi är hemma efter kanalturen och det var helt fantastiskt att göra den på detta sättet, vi firade midsommar i Nössemark efter att ha vänt uppe i Östervallskog. Vi avslutade båtresan i dina krokar då vi tog upp båten på rampen i Dals-Ed, ett fint avslut på turen med helt spegelblank färd på Stora Le. Ha det gott därute!

Blir det hela vägen till Östervallskog ?

Dessa köpte jag på Stadium, deras eget märke, för bortåt 10 år sedan. De bör ha något liknande kvar. Det är riktigt bra och lätta.

Once upon a time there was a cool channel, it went in the wrong direction.... Acts more like a shopping channel

Sorry for that, sometimes i slipper some and do videos that i'm not really amused by myself. Let's find some way back to the good ones. What videos do You like most? Personally i like to be on any adventure and make something of that. But sometimes it gets what it is and I like this discussion.
