If after using both oral Dutasteride, oral Minoxidil, and Keto shampoo for over a year (without sides) but is still losing alot of hair and miniaturization, both visibly and under microscope, how does one know if they should 1.) increase dose of Dut, 2.) add a topical anti-androgen such as Pyralutamide, or 3.) or a form of Estradiol? In watching some of your videos, there are various terms that I don't understand such as 1.) high or low androgen activity in scalp, 2.) aromatase, 3.) whether increase in scalp testosterone could be an issue for a small group of individuals, etc.. I'd like to do something in addition to what I'm doing now but don't want to exacerbate the situation. Any input is appreciated.

Here is what I have done for scaring in the donor area. 1. I had a scar excision for the large vertical scar that was from an injury, not hair transplantation. (You were there so you know about this) 2. I Had head donor hair transplanted in an FUT scar. This was done in a small amount and early in the history of FUE so it made almost no impact. 3. I went to an SMP artist about 15 years ago. She was actually not very good, but the tattooing alone made what was a pink FUT scar turn white. The tattoo gun itself had a micro-needling effect that helped improve the appearance of the scar. 4. Last year, I had a second SMP session performed by a better artist. This did camouflage the FUT scar; however, it didn't hide it entirely because the scar is slightly concave. The only way to truly conceal the scar has been to grow my hair long. I also had some SMP in my donor area where there was overharvesting from FUE and this made a nice improvement in my donor area. I think in all but extreme cases, that is probably better than transplanting hair into the donor area using body hair. 5. Five months ago, I had 400 beard hair grafts placed in the FUT scar. We focused only on the portion of the scar on the back of my head because that is the only area where it can be seen, so the transplantation was quite dense. Growth has only recently begun, but I am already noticing improvement. In my case, the thick caliber of beard hair seems to be overcoming the scalp deformities caused by a shoddy FUT job that created the scar.

Creatine has not only benefits for muscles but huge benefits for brain health and other things too. Ihave taken creatine more than 2 decades, I dont know if it causes any hair loss, studies show it doesnt. And I take TRT too and finasteride. Spencer, dont wait miracles from TRT althou Im now stonger than ever after 30+ years of training with just a bit of testo =)

That was so cringey to hear you say the word Eugenics(x) over and over again. And to sprinkle accolades around that word...taken out of context, this was a gold mine of slander. Perhaps the doctors were not aware of the historical and connotation underpinnings of the word eugenics, and their branding is a considerable investment, but you have a choice of how many times you say their practice's name.

  • @hairtransplantchannel

Odd complaint. The video is 20 minutes long and I mentioned their clinic name ten times. They ARE the subject of the video so not sure whom else I'm supposed to refer to. And to associate the name of the clinic with the negative connotations applied to the word from the late 19th and early 20th centuries is disingenuous as it is obvious what the clinic is referring to, and what it is NOT referring to. Learn to look past narrative and to not be triggered by meaningless and useless associative word games.

Man its crazy how a full head of hair changes people. They start to take care about their appearance again, shave, skin care, smile, dress up. That is gold for someones soul to not look like a bulkied unhealthy chicken. Hair transplant should be covered by insurance. The effects of going bald are mentally and therefore physically devastating

I remember a famous English actor talking about playing a romantic lead. He has crown loss he’s never disguised and they put derm match on for the role. He said to the director that he’d rather not wear it and was told that cinema goers don’t want to see a balding leading man. So stupid and probably untrue

Thanks. I got a cut about 30 minutes before we went on air, but I use L'oreal Studio Line "Matt & Messy" shine free fiber paste and only a very small amount as it goes quite far. I rub it in after moderately towel drying my hair, comb, then let air dry for a few minutes to "set" then I blow dry. Entire affair takes about 5 minutes.

Still to this day I only told one friend, and my mum at the time who said I was mad it won't work. Still to this day I regret going there, but I didn't have the internet and couldn't do research on what I was getting myself into. I didn't have that basically rug on my head for more than 2 weeks because I said this is nothing like my hair, and was very painful as it was put on with like fishing sinkers. Never trust Advanced Hair Studios.

@@graeme1744 I've heard so many horror stories about places like this, hair club for men, etc. As soon as they come out with wishy washy scientific "appliance" talk, or especially if they say "now this is not really a wig" get the hell out. You can wear hair yourself for much cheaper, a guy called StickOnHair on youtube talks about it. Personally for me just 1.25mg of Fin every 3 days kept my Norwood 2 and I'm almost 40 in a family full of baldies.
