What I like is that with a correctly designed and placed hairline, a patient will look better every year going forward as they 'grow into' and not 'out of' their reconstructed hairlines. Having said that it's not just a one hairline fits all. I'm a huge fan of Dr Bicer. Her ethics are excellent, she has well over two decades of experience and she continually challenges herself in self education. A great video Joe. Thanks for sharing!

Joe this young man has done his research his found ethical HT surgeon all there attention one per day. How can I start my journey to find HT repair surgeon am bit scared of journey ahead. Wish young man all the best everything is about planning and thinking about future preserving yr stock. When it's depleted the other options are facial hair and body have you seen yrself the results of these procedures. I listen to show it would be to difficult for me talk about myself call in. Tc

my hair looked like larry david a year ago and after 1 surgery I couldn't be happier. Dont expect to look 20 but understand what is "age appropriate"

I've heard the name, but never looked into him. Since you asked, I have. My opinion is that he misrepresents the NW level of some of his patients. Intentional? I have no idea. But a few other issues I've seen, and this is from strictly looking at his YT channel. Some of the hairline comparisons (before/after) look GREAT but it's because the hairline still is made of native hair. His all grafted hairlines, not so much. Don't misunderstand, I'd say he's better than average but not great. For instance, the screenshot below shows what most would consider to be a fantastic transformation, and for the most part, I'd agree because the man is no longer bald. That's a win. The hairline however is not what I'd like to see from an experienced surgeon as there are two mistakes visible. 1. Coarse hair should be placed more densely at the front. Each hair looks artificial if density is not high enough with coarse hair hairlines. This should have been a priority. Finer hair is easier to get away with low density. 2. Too many multi-hairs in the frontal hairline. Not just on this one, but several others I've seen as well. A bad hairline sours good results, in my view. tinyurl.com/4bj986mc

You're very welcome. I noticed that you posted a very generalized question about me and misrepresented my answer on a forum. I think the better description of my critique would be that I'm critical of ALL doctors, at one time or another, not just doctors that pay for leads on one particular forum. That's a bit disingenuous and misrepresentative of the facts.

Did you at least tell the guy he should get on finasteride? He said he knew hair would continue to fall after thr surgery, why not try to prevent that? This guy was given a disservice from his doctor. Doctor should have recommended finasteride and maybe include minoxidil and he might not even be at that clinic for surgery. Also, he is from Taiwan? A part of me thinks he is just looking to hook up with Taiwanese chicks because they are into Americans (because they have money).

I don’t know what was said between doctor and patient because, as I mentioned, we just had time to do a quick interview and he had to leave. He is (was at the time) on finasteride but he has the PERFECT attitude in that he knows nothing is guaranteed so he’s taking things from a conservative stand point. It’s the healthy thing to do. In addition, he’s not American and he’s got a cool gig in Taiwan, that isn’t related to women. It’s some pretty high level stuff that I’m interested in outside of the hair world. I wish I had more time to talk to him.
