Owned and bred them since 1973. I have said these 7 points and more to talk people out of buying. However in Australia today the breed has been slowly 'detuned' to the point ehere the hunting sharp ness has all but gone. Having said that...imho....❤As with cattle and sheep working dogs nobody from a standard suburban home should be allowed to keep them.
We got our adorable maltipoo at the shelter for free. She was an owner surrender, i assume because that owner hadnt considered the points on this list before purchasing her.
Literally none of this is true for mine except exercise, shes 10 and is still non stop, i just get mine shaved shes not a show dog goes to groomer 3 times a year and here it cost me 45 for cut and 10 for tip. She eats any and everything does whats shes told with no issue, alone 12hrs a day when i work has free roam of the house and adores people and other dogs i must of lucked out lol

I have so many different dogs and my first dog was Rottweiler and now I have three cane corse and one pit bull
My chow chow is 6 now and he’s lived with 5 cats 6 kids in one house. Hamster, rabbit. But I started young with him on training but all the strangers stuff is true.

They are also often much bigger than the breed standards too. Our girl is 80 lbs and taller than the standard. Males get over 100 lbs.

We have had two white german shepaherds (rescuses) and I have to say they were (are) the BEST DOGS WE HAVE EVER OWNED.!!! Yes they need lots of exercise and are happier with a large area in which to run and play, WHAT DOG WOULD NOT BE HAPPier with this?? ANY ;arge dog should not be cooped up in a city aparment or saddled with owners who are couch potatoes who never want to take their dog for a walk. The observations in this video are ridiculous.
