Hmm I wonder if this is where the American filmmaker who made Elephant about the columbine shootings got his idea as well

Those were targeted shootings and not "random" as our narrator believes. The people shot typically were suspected of collusion with British security forces or Protestant militias.

It should of been ireland ,...the northern irish love the royal family more than the english do. The sectarian violence was made worse by british clandestine operatives caused most of it

Maybe I'm reading too far into 12, but the shooter uses a revolver with the hammer's spur cut off (the little " ) " shaped thing that you can pull back the hammer with. But so far, except for maybe only the one with the SPAS 12, have all been weapons that theoritcally could be easy to get or handed around a few groups. Webley's from military service and other revolvers smuggled in or from the war of independence, with a double barrel shotgun too. But this revolver implies there's some actual professionals at work and not just kids kiling to pretend to be the next Michael Collins or part of the Black and Tans. The spur being cut off would mean there's less to snag on a coat pocket, meaning quickdrawing is far easier. There being a more wealthy target also seems like this is an action by either side's actual organised paramilitaries to cut funding or other support for the enemy. But up until this point it could have just been people low on the rungs, just being a factory worker here or a cleaner there. People who could have talked to the authorities or talked to the wrong person for a bit too long.

I remember when Paul Anderson's three musketeers was due out, Empire Magazine ran a preview of it. They did talk to James Corden who was in it and when they called it his second big screen appearance he said 'call it first! You can't count Lesbian Vampire Killers! It was S*it! We didn't know what we were doing!'. Which speaks volumes.

This video came up rather randomly for me, but I watched it. You might have introduced the film more clearly at the beginning. After several killings, I began to piece together that it’s a movie seemingly without characters in the traditional sense, without narrative cohesion, and featuring almost exclusively increasingly random acts of murder. Having seen all the killing included here, what struck me was how little dialogue there was. I’m not sure I buy this in reality to the degree it seems to be the case in the film. It seems more like a stylistic choice for a movie than realistic. Seems to me a lot of killers would say a couple words at least to the person they were going to kill, maybe taunt them, confirm their identity/religion, especially when they share a language, at least some of the time. In the movie, it doesn’t look like that ever happened really. Idk. I liked 28 Days Later when it comes to Danny Boyle.

American PSAs could get pretty gnarly, but overall they were pretty toned down compared to their British counterparts. However, there was one that ran which is now burned into my mind. It was so simple, yet it certainly got the job done. It started with a black screen with white text talking about the affects of smoking, with a hoarse and robotic voice narrating it, before a hard cut revealing that the voice is coming from an old woman who had a tracheotomy. No holes in the throat for me, thanks.

ADHD: The Show. If they ever release a DVD of the show, "Lavatorial!" should absolutely be the adjective on the box. (Gotta love the Brits; American politicians think "obscene" is a fancy-pancy word.)

Really really like this film, it actually inspired a sort of remake that was based on Columbine believe it or not in 2003. Rampage is another film that's similar by Uwe Boll, but it more focuses on a very very angry man who doesn't like society. I wish you could do an essay one day on one of the Cornetto Trilogy Films by Edgar Wright. Overall, it was a good video.

“Senseless killings” no the British had committed horrific acts in Ireland and had ripped the land apart and the Irish put up a brave fight against the oppression and occupation of the British. And also why would you trust anything put out from a Northern Ireland anything they obviously will make things to make the revolutionary’s seem barbarous and stupid. How do you think they justified killing African civilians during any sort of uprising their justification was “their barbaric and evildoers that are against the white civilization!” This is propaganda at its peak! You make a impactful peice of art that makes people feel intelligent for watching and people who haven’t watched it think people who have watched think that the people who watched it are intelligent and then make the point of the peice of art/media against whatever your against and now you have thousands of people thinking their intellectuals Who have a great understanding of everything art and politics! This story is just a great peice of propaganda fed to the public to discard the revolutionary movements of the world as just “barberic monsters whom strive to remove your freedoms and rights and to rid our great state of its true capitalist democracy!” Wich is such an idiotic statement that it hurt to type out and if you disagree with me you have bad geopolitical knowledge and you don’t know enough about politics to be speaking in the first place

Friendly reminder that Louis Theroux wrote Tropic Thunder, one of the most critically acclaimed comedy movies in 2008 (it may be offensive but I enjoyed it for its writing and its acting from its main cast of Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. I find it pretty crazy that he wrote it.)
