Forget how the buildings look. You will have the worst experience at FIU. There is no such thing as a college experience at FIU. Unless you plan on staying on campus 24/7 good luck. As soon as you leave be ready to deal with the Miami people’s ignorance. All that aside, the classes are a joke. I coasted through all of my dual finance/economics with a minor in math degree classes without even a sweat. The school is a big joke. Do not get suckered in.

This was a really nice, well-crafted video, kudos to you. This was something that also pained me a lot growing up in south Florida (and going to FIU), the lack of civilian-supported infrastructure and the poor application of urban planning and development. Unfortunately, as I'm sure that you're familiar with -- it's like this all over the US. I've grown to see a lot has to do with complacency and a lack of creativity -- and how much that transpires top-down from our elected legislators at the federal level all the way down to commissioners at the local level, is amazing. So many people in positions of power are wildly unbothered to address these gaps in society (not just exclusive to infrastructure, but with all instances related to improving quality of life) and as a result, untethered to reality that continuing to apply archaic practices is somehow feasible, let alone sustainable. Not sure if you've heard of the non-profit org called Strong Towns, but I think you'd like and appreciate their content. I gotta stop rambling lol things like this can really send me on a tangent 🤣

Quite a sight to see, how FIU has evolved just even within the last ten years since I've graduated. Lived in LV South, North, and a banging spot on the 9th floor in Univ Park Towers. Sunrise and sunset views for days. Thanks for the trip down memory lane

America is a giant mall designed for consumerism an its citizens are actually slaves. the reason why big corporations are dominating its because they have politicians in their pockets and the presidents are actually just the mouth piece, everyone knows this but they keep voting and participating in this big charade, while the rich looks down and take advantage of plandemics. corporations are now merging into politics more than ever and they will take over government and they will be the ones deciding what rules laws and regulations we must comply with. but you can never comply your way into freedom.

I love how you actually show the demonstrations. For the example of trying to enter a little business u do have to do a uturn which gets annoying. I can see for myself how I prefer traditional pedestrian oriented places. Not to mention how beautiful they look and makes you want to spend money even after you’ve already shopped! Also yes the developments that take up more land because of parking is insane! Also is Alan Kosoff a family member? (since same last name). How cool either way how he was explaining how to maintain large parking lots. I hate how small business have to pay more for parking just to meet the parking minimum! How detrimental to small business who have to spend more money and resources to maintain these areas. I wish we could bring back Mom and Pop stores because it allows for the small economic areas to grow. I love what you’re doing! Keep it up
