  This is from the Ballet Spartacus and was the originally called Adgio Of Spartacus and Phrygia. The Ballet is full of great music. Wonderful theme.

  Theme songbis fantastic. I never used to pay attention to the words but listening to it with intent, it really is a nostalgia bop for conservatives of the time (not saying that as an insult or bad thing). But it's people not knowing how to process or deal with a changing world wishing for things to go back to the way they were, but ultimately the world moves on.

  my grandma Jane Rest Her Soul, use to play this at midnight at tell me that was when it came on (but she had them on tape) and i use to dance and run around to the beginning of it, and i never spent enough time with her as a young teenager i was to worried about the wrong things and i watched her die of cancer and everytime i hear this song i cry like a little baby.

  I used to come home from school at lunchtime (dinner) as we called it in northern England. This came on just as I was heading back to school and my mum used to sit down and watch it. I loved the theme tune so I used to hang around until that had finished. We had all the Australian soaps back then, sons and daughters also at lunchtime, then neighbours and home and away early evening and cell block H quite late at night I seem to remember and lizzie birdsworth mongrel and fair dinkum remarks lol. Good memories ❤

  Longest running drama series for back then..grew up on this show...remake not a good idea....I went to visit there in 91 just before me and my family got chased out of an overseas base due to ...wait for it ...a volcano. Glad I went to Hawaii before and not after as my nerves wouldn't of handled being in an active volcano range.
